Case Reports"Floating popliteus tendon injury" in a mutiple-ligament knee injury: one case report and arthroscopy-assisted reconstruction.
A patient with both a femoral attachment injury (peel-off injury) and musculotendinous junction avulsion of the popliteus, a so-called “floating popliteus tendon injury”, received arthroscopy-assisted popliteus reconstruction. The injured ligaments were addressed in the same procedure, including mini-open direct repair of the femoral avulsed fibular collateral ligament (FCL), suture repair of the grade 3 medial collateral ligament (MCL), and reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).

Review Case ReportsCerebral lipiodol embolism following transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma: a report of two cases and literature review.
Cerebral lipiodol embolism (CLE) is an extremely rare complication of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma. To our knowledge, only 11 cases have been previously reported. ⋯ The presence of a right-to-left shunt and inferior phrenic artery injection seems to increase the risk of CLE. More caution should be taken in these situations.

Prospective study of first night effect on 2-night polysomnographic parameters in adult Chinese snorers with suspected obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.
A prospective 2-night polysomnographic (PSG) study in Chinese snorers was designed to assess the role of the first night effect (FNE) in PSG parameters and the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). ⋯ Only mild FNE can be found on two consecutive nights of PSG in adult Chinese snorers, but it has no effect on the diagnosis of OSAHS. A single polysomnographic night may be adequate for the diagnosis of OSAHS.

Case ReportsSyncope with spontaneous coronary artery dissection in an elderly woman.
Diagnosis of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is challenging because of its rarity and uncertain etiology. It frequently occurs in young women during pregnancy and in the postpartum period, and rarely found in elder women with no history of cardiovascular disease or coronary risk factors. In this article we report a case of SCAD in a 75-year-old woman without traditional cardiovascular risk factors who presented with syncope and mild chest discomfort. ⋯ Coronary angiogram revealed dissection in the middle left circumflex artery. The patient underwent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and was free of symptoms at 6-month follow-up. Our report suggests that emergency coronary angiography is indicated if syncope caused by coronary artery disease is suspected.

Meta AnalysisKnee function after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with patellar or hamstring tendon: a meta-analysis.
There is currently no consensus regarding the best graft type for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effects of patellar and hamstring tendon grafts on long-term knee function after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. ⋯ Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using patellar or hamstring tendon grafts results in similar long-term knee function.
