In the race for a safe and effective vaccine against Coronavirus disease-19 manufacturer plays a critical role throughout the development, clinical trial, manufacturing, supply, and vaccination phases. For the efficacy of Coronavirus disease-19 vaccine, proper transport, storage, vaccine carrier, adjuvant, dosage form and route of vaccine administration plays a crucial role for immune response. ⋯ It is urgent to improve health promotion and reduce the barriers to Coronavirus disease-19 vaccination. Case ReportsKawasaki Disease like Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in a Toddler during SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic in Nepal.
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children is a new childhood inflammatory disorder associated with respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). This illness of elevated inflammatory markers and multiple organ involvement similar to Kawasaki disease is not commonly reported from Asia. A 17-month-old boy presented with acute onset fever, rash, non-exudative conjunctivitis and swellings of hands and legs. ⋯ The child responded to treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin and high dose aspirin. Hence, amidst SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children should be suspected and effectively treated even in a country like Nepal. Serum Vitamin D in Patients with Chronic Periodontitis and Healthy Periodontium.
Periodontitis is inflammatory disorder resulting in progressive destruction of the periodontal ligament and alveolar bone with pocket formation, recession, or both. Vitamin D has a benefit in bone metabolism and anti-inflammatory activity involving T-cell homeostasis. The objective of this study was to compare the vitamin D level in patient with chronic periodontitis and healthy periodontium and evaluate its correlation. ⋯ There are no differences in the level of serum vitamin D between healthy and chronic periodontitis groups. No association was seen between vitamin D level and chronic periodontitis.

Stress, Anxiety, Depression and Their Associated Factors among Health Care Workers During COVID -19 Pandemic in Nepal.
Frontline Health Care Workers are at risk of developing mental and psychological distress during Corona virus disease 2019 pandemic. This study aimed to assess level of stress, anxiety, depression and their associated factors among health care workers during Corona virus disease 2019 pandemic in Nepal. ⋯ Health care workers experienced symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression in varied level of severity. This experience was higher among the nurses and laboratory workers than doctors. Pandemic preparedness assuring PPE and appropriate psychological interventions may be beneficial to promote mental health and well-being of health care workers.
