Early Clinical Evaluation of Percutaneous Full-endoscopic Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion with Pedicle Screw Insertion for Treating Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis.
To compare the clinical efficacy of percutaneous full-endoscopic transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (Endo-TLIF) with percutaneous pedicle screws (PPSs) performed by using a visualization system with that of minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF) for the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). ⋯ Endo-TLIF with percutaneous pedicle screws (PPS) performed by using a visualization system for lumbar degenerative disease may be regarded as an efficient alternative surgery for degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. It is a safe and minimally invasive way to perform this surgery and has shown satisfactory clinical outcomes.

ReviewLong-Term Efficacy of Screw Fixation vs Hemiarthroplasty for Undisplaced Femoral Neck Fracture in Patients over 65 Years of Age: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
To compare the long-term efficacy of screw fixation and hemiarthroplasty in elderly patients with undisplaced femoral neck fractures. ⋯ In elderly patients with undisplaced femoral neck fractures, hemiarthroplasty provided a lower implant-related complication rate, lower reoperation rate, superior hip function without increased long-term mortality. Hemiarthroplasty should be recommended as a better alternative in such patients compared with multiple cannulated screws.

Mid-term Results of Subtalar Arthroereisis with Talar-Fit Implant in Pediatric Flexible Flatfoot and Identifying the Effects of Adjunctive Procedures and Risk Factors for Sinus Tarsi Pain.
To (i) report the mid-term outcomes of subtalar arthroereisis using Talar-Fit implant for the treatment of flexible flatfoot patients; (ii) compare clinical and radiographic outcomes between arthroereisis with and without adjunctive operative procedures to investigate the effects of adjuncts on the outcomes; and (iii) analyze the risk factors associated with sinus tarsi pain, which is the most common postoperative complication of arthroereisis. ⋯ The mid-term clinical and radiographic results were satisfactory in patients who underwent the subtalar arthroereisis procedure using Talar-Fit implant, alone or in combination with other adjuncts, for the treatment of flexible flatfoot.

Epidemiological Study Based on China Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head Database.
The aim of the present study was to reveal the case characteristics of osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) in Mainland China. ⋯ Osteonecrosis of the femoral head most commonly occurs after the age of 40. Male patients have an earlier onset than female patients, and the number of male patients is approximately twice that of female patients. The BMI of patients was mainly in the overweight and obese range, and half of these patients engaged in level IV manual work. From the imaging findings, the numbers of hips at ARCO stages II and III were greatest, and the number at stage I was relatively small. Among all the causes of disease, alcohol, steroid use and trauma were the three most common reasons for ONFH.
