Combined 3D Printed Template to Guide Iliosacral Screw Insertion for Sacral Fracture and Dislocation: A Retrospective Analysis.
To evaluate the accuracy and safety of a combined 3D printed guide template (combined template) to assist iliosacral (IS) screw placement for sacral fracture and dislocation. ⋯ Using the combined template to assist with the insertion of IS screws delivered good accuracy, less fluoroscopy and shorter operation time, and avoided neurovascular injury as a result of screw malposition.

Comparative StudyComparison of the Effects of Proximal Humeral Internal Locking System (PHILOS) Alone and PHILOS Combined with Fibular Allograft in the Treatment of Neer Three- or Four-part Proximal Humerus Fractures in the Elderly.
To compare and analyze the clinical outcomes of the proximal humeral internal locking system (PHILOS) alone and the PHILOS combined with fibular allograft in the treatment of Neer three- and four-part proximal humerus fractures (PHF) in the elderly. ⋯ For Neer three- or four-part PHF in the elderly patients, PHILOS fixation with fibular allograft shows satisfactory short-term results with respect to humeral head support and maintenance of reduction, and may reduce the incidence of complications associated with fixation using a PHILOS alone.

Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy and Foraminoplasty for Treating Central Lumbar Stenosis.
Lumbar spinal stenosis is a medical condition characterized by the narrowing of the spinal canal as a consequence of bone and soft tissue degeneration, including disc herniation, facet and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, and osteophyte formation. The percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy (PTED) technique is one of the emerging surgical alternatives for treating central lumbar stenosis. The present study aims to describe the present techniques of PTED and foraminoplasty for central lumbar stenosis, and discuss the feasibility and advantages of this technique. ⋯ PTED and foraminoplasty technique showed promising outcomes in the treatment of central lumbar stenosis in a 1-year follow-up period. It suggested that PTED and foraminoplasty might be applied as a safe and effective therapeutic option for patients with lumbar stenosis.

Challenging Surgical Treatment of Displaced Articular Tibial Plateau Fractures: Do Early Knee Radiographic Features Have a Predictive Value of the Mid-Term Clinical Functional Outcomes?
To evaluate mid-term radiographic and functional outcomes of tibial plateau fracture (TPF) patients treated with the open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) technique and to find predictive factors of clinical outcomes. ⋯ The present study demonstrates that early radiographic features may be predictive for pain perceived by patients at mid-term follow-up.

Management of Low-Energy Basicervical Proximal Femoral Fractures by Proximal Femoral Nail Anti-Rotation.
To evaluate clinical and radiological outcomes of proximal femoral nail anti-rotation (PFNA-II) devices and demonstrate the effectiveness of PFNA-II for the treatment of basicervical fractures in elderly patients. ⋯ Based on the clinical and radiological outcomes, the PFNA-II devices provide strong rotational stability and excellent clinical prognosis, and are an appropriate treatment option for basicervical proximal femoral fracture in elderly patients.
