The distribution characteristics of ABO and RhD blood groups in the world were different and the data were limited. The aim was to investigate the distribution characteristics of ABO and RhD blood groups in Chongqing, and to provide scientific-effective data for a more reasonable blood collection program. We retrospectively analyzed 795 698 blood donors who had donated blood from 2014 to 2019 at the Chongqing Blood Center. ⋯ The distribution of blood groups O, A, B and AB were 35.54%, 31.90%, 24.14% and 8.42%, respectively. The distributions of RhD-Negative group was found in 4362 (0.55%) blood donors. The distribution characteristics of the ABO and RhD blood group should be considered when improving blood collection program in Chongqing.

Hyperprolactinemia in clinical non-functional pituitary macroadenomas: A STROBE-compliant study.
Hyperprolactinemia is a prevalent endocrine disorder presented in patients with non-functional pituitary adenomas (NFPAs). However, the mechanism involved in hyperprolactinemia in NFPA is not fully illustrated. The current study aims to investigate predictors for hyperprolactinemia in NFPA via analyzing relevant clinical features. ⋯ The PRL normalization rate of patients with lower PRL level (<2.35-fold upper limit of normal range) was 95.2% and decreased to 65.5% for patients with higher PRL level. In conclusion, our results suggest existence of potentially alternative mechanisms underlying hyperprolactinemia in NFPAs, like the discrepancy of sex and age and the negative feedback of FT4. Preoperative PRL is a predictor for postoperative PRL normalization, which is of clinically relevant for postoperative management of NFPAs.

Hepatitis B virus reactivation after successful treatment of hepatitis C virus with sofosbuvir and ribavirin: A case report and literature review.
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation caused by immunosuppressive therapy or chemotherapy is well known. The administration of direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs) to treat hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection has also been reported to cause HBV reactivation. We report a rare case of HBV reactivation in a patient with HCV infection after DAA therapy. ⋯ Although the risk may be very low, DAA therapy can cause HBV reactivation in chronic hepatitis C patients with prior HBV infection. Thus, those patients must be closely monitored for serum HBV DNA levels during and after DAA treatment.

Mammography is considered a fundamental part of diagnosis in modern health care services. It provides low dose images of normal structures and pathological soft tissues in the breast. Many reports suggested that intervention is playing a positive role in anxiety related to mammography, but there is no high-quality evidence to prove its effects. This paper reports the protocol of a systematic review (SR) and meta-analysis (MA) to clarify effectiveness of intervention during screening mammography. ⋯ INPLASY202070131.
