Liuzijue is a promising exercise option for rehabilitating discharged COVID-19 patients.
Among discharged COVID-19 patients, the health-related quality of life is poor, and patients suffer from significant physical and psychological impairment. This study was designed to investigate the effects of Liuzijue exercise on the rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients. ⋯ Liuzijue exercise is a viable alternative home exercise program that produced better functional capacity and quality of life in discharged patients with COVID-19. These findings also showed the necessity of rehabilitation intervention for cured COVID-19 patients.

Diabetic neurogenic bladder (DNB) is one of the common complications of diabetes mellitus, which has a high prevalence rate. Some research suggested that acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms of diabetic neurogenic bladder patients, but there is no systematic review or meta-analysis to assess this therapy. Therefore, this study aims to explore the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for patients with DNB. ⋯ This study will clarify whether acupuncture is an effective treatment for DNB, and will also provide a reference for clinical practice and guidelines development.

Effects of Etonogestrel implants on pelvic pain and menstrual flow in women suffering from adenomyosis or endometriosis: Results from a prospective, observational study.
Adenomyosis and endometriosis are common causes of pelvic pain in women of reproductive age. Furthermore, adenomyosis is a major cause of menorrhagia. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Etonogestrel implants on pelvic pain and menstrual flow in women requiring long-acting reversible contraception and suffering from adenomyosis or endometriosis. ⋯ The menstrual volume decreased significantly compared with that at baseline ((40.69 ± 30.92) %, P < 0.05). However, vaginal bleeding, amenorrhea, weight gain, and acne occurred after treatment in some patients. Etonogestrel implants were effective in reducing pelvic pain and menstrual flow of adenomyosis or endometriosis.

Dementia is a major mental health problem worldwide, and an optimal anti-dementia drug that could modify its core symptoms has not been developed yet. Behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), an important clinical manifestation of dementia, is closely related to disease burden, caregiver burden, and consequent social burden. In general, many experts and international guidelines prefer non-pharmacological interventions, including psychosocial intervention, and complementary and integrative medicine in the management of BPSD. However, in clinical settings, psychotropic drugs are frequently used; therefore, the need to establish and actively use effective non-pharmacological interventions is emphasized. Therefore, in this systematic review, we will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture, a promising non-pharmacological complementary and integrative medicine, for BPSD. ⋯ OSF (URL: https://osf.io/hu5ac), PROSPERO (CRD42020211005) (URL: https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero/display_record.php?ID=CRD42020211005).

Sepsis is commonly acute and critical illness with high morbidity and high mortality, and requires timely diagnosis and treatment. Septic patients had elevated serum H-FABP levels, which may correlate with disease severity and mortality. However, previous studies showed that the association between H-FABP and mortality during the sepsis remains unclear. Thus, we performed a study to analyze this relationship. ⋯ DOI: 10.17605/ OSF.IO / 2V4HN.(https://osf.io/2v4hn/).
