Endometrial carcinoma is a prevalent form of cancer. In fact, its incidence ranks fourth among European and North American females. Moreover, it is the most common gynecological malignant disease. Laparotomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy, etc were common methods adopted in conventional open surgery. Recent developments in laparoscopic surgery (LPS) has made it more effective. The present study aims to compare the outcomes between LPS and a conventional open surgical procedure to treat stage II endometrial carcinoma patients. ⋯ This study will conduct a meta-analysis to compare the clinical efficacy of LPS and conventional open surgery in the treatment of stage II endometrial carcinoma.

The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy and safety of acupuncture treatment (AT) or acupuncture plus conventional medicine (CM) versus CM alone using a meta-analysis of all published randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). ⋯ Acupuncture may be effective and safe for treatment of NAFLD. However, due to insufficient methodological quality and sample size, further high-quality studies are needed.

Meta Analysis
The analgesic efficacy of pregabalin for shoulder arthroscopy: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The efficacy of pregabalin for pain management of shoulder arthroscopy remains controversial. We conduct this meta-analysis to explore the influence of pregabalin versus placebo on the postoperative pain intensity of shoulder arthroscopy. ⋯ Pregabalin may benefit to pain control after shoulder arthroscopy.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Comparison of accuracy and safety between robot-assisted and conventional fluoroscope assisted placement of pedicle screws in thoracolumbar spine: A meta-analysis.
The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to explore the screw positioning accuracy, complications related to pedicle screw implantation, revision rate and radiation exposure between robot screw placement and traditional fluoroscopic screw placement. ⋯ The robot-assisted group was significantly better than the conventional FH in the accuracy of pedicle screw placement and facet joint invasion rate and revision rate. There was no significant difference in the complication and fluoroscopy time between the two groups.

Meta Analysis
Balanced crystalloids versus saline in critically ill patients: The PRISMA study of a meta-analysis.
To compare the safety of balanced crystalloids and saline among critically ill patients in intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ When compared with saline, balanced crystalloids could not reduce the risk of MAKE30, 30-day mortality, ICU mortality and in-hospital mortality, could not reduce the length of ICU stay, length of hospital stay, the level of creatinine highest before discharge and the needs for RRT among critical ill children and adults. Therefore, it was still too early for balanced crystalloids to replace normal saline among critical ill patients.
