Meta Analysis
Effectiveness of exercise in reducing cerebral stroke risk factors: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
This study aimed to explore the relationship between exercise and cerebral stroke and provide evidence for the prevention of cerebral stroke. ⋯ The results of this systematic review suggest that exercise is associated with a slow increase in carotid intima-media thickness, which may provide evidence that exercise helps reduce cerebral stroke.

Review Case Reports
Surgical treatment of recurrent postoperative discal pseudocyst: A case report and literature review.
Postoperative discal pseudocyst (PDP) is rare. Few studies have reported on the recurrence of PDPs, and there is a lack of understanding of their clinical features and treatment methods. This study discusses the clinical characteristics and treatment of recurrent PDPs. ⋯ PDP is a rare complication of lumbar discectomy. Repeat lumbar discectomy can effectively treat PDP, but the cyst can recur. We, for the first time, used posterior instrumented lumbar fusion to successfully treat recurrent PDP.

Headache disorders are common diseases that cause a social burden. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effects of various non-pharmacological treatments to address or prevent acute headaches, including neuromodulation, acupuncture, and aerobic exercises in patients with episodic migraine and tension-type headache (TTH). ⋯ There is low- and moderate-quality evidence that neuromodulation, acupuncture, and aerobic exercises are associated with attenuated headache symptoms in patients with episodic migraine or TTH. However, high-quality studies are needed to draw more detailed conclusions.

Risk factors and mortality of pulmonary embolism in COVID-19 patients: Evidence based on fifty observational studies.
At present, many studies have described acute pulmonary embolism (PE) as a frequent and prognostically relevant complication of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Thus we performed the present analysis of 50 studies to evaluate the risk factors and mortality of PE in COVID-19 patients. ⋯ The present analysis indicated that PE increased the mortality of COVID-19 patients. Mechanical ventilation, especially invasive mechanical ventilation, is correlated with an increased incidence of PE in patients with COVID-19. The incidence of PE for COVID-19 patients may be multifactorial and further researches focused on risk factors were needed in the future.

Meta Analysis
The correlation of leukocyte-specific protein 1 (LSP1) rs3817198(T>C) polymorphism with breast cancer: A meta-analysis.
Multiple studies have investigated the correlation of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in leukocyte-specific protein 1 (LSP1) with susceptibility to breast cancer (BC) and have yielded inconsistent conclusions, particularly rs3817198(T > C). Consequently, we performed a meta-analysis to estimate this relationship more comprehensively. ⋯ Our study identified that LSP1 rs3817198 polymorphism might result in breast malignancy, particularly among Caucasians and Asians, but lower breast cancer susceptibility in African populations. The expression of LSP1 was negatively correlated with the IC50 of doxorubicin, 5-fluorouracil, and cisplatin.
