High-intensity interval training (HIIT) can significantly improve health indicators such as cardiopulmonary function, metabolic efficiency, and muscle strength in a short period. However, due to significant physiological and metabolic differences between males and females, the effects of HIIT vary between genders. Therefore, exploring the specific impacts of HIIT on women's health is crucial. Although there is a considerable amount of individual research on the impact of HIIT on women's health, a systematic bibliometric analysis is still lacking. ⋯ This field has emerged as a research hotspot with international characteristics and extensive academic productivity. Journals and cited journals hold high academic influence, with highly cited and bursty references laying a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the field. In the rapid development of the past decade, research hotspots and frontier directions such as metabolic adaptation, muscle adaptation, cardiovascular health, exercise performance, and personalized training plans have been formed.

Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome due to phenytoin: Case report and review of the literature.
Drug hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS) is a rare but potentially fatal adverse drug reaction characterized by fever, rash, and visceral organ damage, particularly affecting the liver. Early recognition and appropriate management are crucial to prevent serious complications. However, there is limited information on the clinical presentation and management of DIHS, especially in the context of antiepileptic drugs. This case report aims to highlight the importance of recognizing subtle clinical signs and symptoms of DIHS, which can be easily overlooked, particularly in the context of antiepileptic drug use. ⋯ This case highlights the importance of recognizing the subtle clinical signs and symptoms of DIHS, especially in the context of antiepileptic drug use. It underscores the potential benefits of early initiation of glucocorticoid therapy in managing DIHS. The case also serves as a reminder of the potential for drug cross-reactivity in DIHS and the need for cautious drug selection during the acute phase of the syndrome.

Secondary diabetes mellitus in acromegaly: Case report and literature review.
Acromegaly, predominantly resulting from a pituitary adenoma, is marked by excessive secretion of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1). However, normalization of blood glucose levels posttreatment is rarely achieved. This case study aims to highlight the diagnostic challenges posed by overlapping symptoms of acromegaly and diabetes, emphasizing the importance of precise diagnosis and effective treatment strategies for optimal patient outcomes. ⋯ This case emphasizes the need for comprehensive assessment in patients with acromegaly to address coexisting diabetic complications. Surgical and radiotherapeutic management of acromegaly can lead to significant metabolic improvements, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary care in managing these complex cases.

Colonic lipomas (CLs) are benign tumors of the adipose tissue of the gastrointestinal tract that are often asymptomatic. A search of medical literature in English using PubMed and Google Scholar was conducted for articles related to CL. Occasionally, patients present with intestinal bleeding or obstructive symptoms. ⋯ Surgical and endoscopic techniques are widely used to manage CLs. The challenge for physicians is differentiating this lesion from malignant colonic lesions, at the outset. The risk of misdiagnosis is possible, and the recommendation in cases of doubt is still segmental surgical resection, as it ensures correct collection of lymph nodes for appropriate staging of presumed colonic carcinoma.

Cybersecurity incidents in healthcare present significant legal implications for clinicians, necessitating careful consideration of technological advancements and regulatory frameworks. This literature examines the healthcare cybersecurity landscape, emphasizing clinicians' challenges, and legal responsibilities. It explores the impact of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing, highlighting the potential benefits and risks, including biases and ethical dilemmas. ⋯ The review also identifies critical gaps in the literature, particularly concerning artificial intelligence ethics and international regulatory frameworks, suggesting specific areas for future research. These findings underscore the need for robust cybersecurity policies, comprehensive training for healthcare professionals, and a nuanced understanding of the legal landscape. This review informs policymakers, clinicians, and researchers about the evolving nature of cybersecurity challenges in healthcare, addressing key concerns raised by reviewers and contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the field.
