Primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is a common ocular disease, and there is currently no effective treatment for POAG therapy. Thus, identifying some effective diagnostic markers is beneficial to the treatment of patients. The expression profile was obtained from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. ⋯ Hub genes were all targeted by 16 miRNAs. Drug sensitivity analysis exhibited that some drugs were more sensitivity for POAG, such as Acetalax_1804, Ibrutinib_1799 and OSI_027_1594. We identified 5 oxidative stress-related genes with high diagnostic value for POAG.

The diagnosis of renal ischemia and reperfusion injury (RIRI) is crucial for renal transplant recipients. RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) may have an impact on disease development. Therefore, this study explored the biomarkers associated with RBPs in RIRI. ⋯ In this study, we identified biomarkers associated with RBPs in RIRI, explored their associated pathways and drugs, which provided new insights into the clinical diagnosis and treatment of RIRI.

Adhesive capsulitis (AC) is often accompanied by pain and restriction in range of movement, which long lasting symptoms often have negative impact on patients' work and lives. Since diabetes mellitus (DM) is an independent risk factor for developing AC, and AC with DM have more limitations of joint motion than general people. ⋯ Whether AC combined with DM or not, the current treatment could achieve positive clinical effectiveness and there is some statistical evidence show that the curative effect of AC combined with DM is worse than non-diabetic. In other words, the available evidence suggests that patients with DM might require additional rehabilitation measures with routine glycemic control.

Impact of remimazolam on postoperative inflammatory markers and complications in thoracoscopic pulmonary lobectomy patients: A retrospective analysis.
Remazolam is widely used for procedural sedation in intensive care units. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and organ-protecting properties. However, the changes in inflammatory markers and analgesic effects of remazolam after thoracoscopic pulmonary lobectomy remain unclear. ⋯ However, due to potential confounding factors and the retrospective design, we cannot establish a causal relationship between remimazolam and elevated inflammatory markers. These findings suggest a possible association that requires cautious interpretation. Further research is needed to assess the clinical relevance and explore the underlying mechanisms.

Height below 154 cm is a risk factor for pulmonary edema in twin pregnancy: An observational study.
In recent years, twin pregnancies have become increasingly common. The aim of our study was to analyze the exposure to risk factors for postpartum pulmonary edema in twin pregnancies. We get all our data from the "DATADRYAD" database, which is available directly. ⋯ Our study suggests that pregnant women with twin pregnancies whose height is <154 cm are more likely to suffer from postpartum pulmonary edema. Therefore, healthcare professionals and caregivers should pay closer attention to twin pregnancies with heights below 154 cm, be alert to the occurrence of pulmonary edema, and take preventive and therapeutic measures as early as possible. This will help prevent the development of pulmonary edema.
