Mining and updating the post-marketing safety signals of esketamine nasal spray for better identification of adverse drug event (ADE) signals and medication monitoring during clinical use to ensure patient medication safety. Downloading data from the US Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System from Q1 2019 to Q2 2023, the reporting odds ratio, proportional reporting ratio, Multi-item Gamma Poisson Shrinker, and Bayesian Confidence Propagation Neural Network methods of the disproportionality method were used to mine and analyze ADEs, and finally to screen for signals of ADEs with esketamine nasal spray as the primary suspected drug. ⋯ The most frequently observed ADEs are dissociation, sedation, and hypertension, while some new rare signals have been detected, such as interstitial cystitis, substance abuse, and drug diversion. The present study identified significant new ADEs signals for esketamine nasal spray, which may provide a source for healthcare professionals to assess patients' symptoms and risk identification.

Previous studies have reported correlations between metabolic factors and abdominal aortic calcification (AAC). However, the causal relationship between blood metabolites and AAC remains to be fully explored. We employed bidirectional two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) to investigate the potential causal relationships between 486 blood metabolites and AAC. ⋯ Reverse MR analysis revealed an alteration in 12 blood metabolites due to AAC, including caffeine, 1,7-dimethylurate, arachidonic acid, and 1-arachidonoylglycerophosphocholine. This study provides evidence supporting a causal relationship between metabolites and AAC. These findings help elucidate the underlying biological mechanisms of AAC and may offer insights into screening, prevention, and treatment approaches.

Exosomes, which are extracellular vesicles secreted and released from specific cells, exist widely in cell culture supernatants and various body fluids. This study aimed to analyze the research status of exosomes in stroke, and predict developmental trends via bibliometric analyses. The related literature from January 1, 2008 to January 1, 2024 was searched in the Web of Science Core Collection and 943 articles were retrieved. ⋯ In the keyword cluster "Exosomes and the Mechanism of Stroke: Inflammation and Apoptosis," exosomes and inflammation were identified as hotspots. "Functional recovery" was a new trend in the keyword cluster of "Angiogenesis and Functional Recovery after Stroke." China and the United States are the main forces in this field, and both countries focusing on drug treatments. The studies have been published mainly in China and United States. The findings of our bibliometric analyses of the literature may enable researchers to choose appropriate institutions, collaborators, and journals.

Pyroptosis-related genes have great potential for prognosis, an accurate prognostic model based on pyroptosis genes has not been seen in Colorectal adenocarcinoma (COAD). Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms of gene expression characteristics and the Tumor Immune Microenvironment associated with the prognosis of COAD is still largely unknown. Constructing a prognostic model based on pyroptosis-related genes, and revealing prognosis-related mechanisms associated with the gene expression characteristics and tumor microenvironment. 59 pyroptosis-related genes were collected. ⋯ This study constructed a prognostic model for COAD using 10 pyroptosis-related genes with prognostic value. This study also revealed significant differences in specific pathways and the tumor immune microenvironment (TME) between the high-risk group and the low-risk group, highlighted the roles of ALDH5A1 and Wnt signaling in promoting COAD and the suppressive effects of the IL-4/IL-13 pathway and RORC on COAD. The study will be helpful for precision therapy.

China's sports tourism has seen significant growth since the 2008 Olympics, only to be challenged by the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. This study aims to assess the impact of the pandemic on China's tourism and sports tourism, which are highly interrelated. ⋯ The pandemic's impact was profound, yet the resilience of China's tourism sector is evident, with a focus on the recovery's implications for sustainable growth. Despite the pandemic's disruption, China's tourism and sports tourism sectors have demonstrated resilience and potential for continued growth, warranting ongoing attention.
