The diagnostic value of endoscopic ultrasound for esophageal subepithelial lesions: A review.
Esophageal subepithelial lesions (ESELs) encompass a variety of diseases, including leiomyoma, granular cell tumors, hemangioma, lipoma, stromal tumors, leiomyosarcoma, schwannoma, neuroendocrine tumors and more. These lesions often present asymptomatically, leading to a generally low clinical diagnosis rate. ⋯ In recent years, EUS has increasingly been combined with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, submucosal saline injection, high-frequency impedance measurement, and enhanced imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce missed diagnoses. This article reviews the application and recent advancements of EUS in diagnosing esophageal submucosal lesions.

As an important innate immune cell in the body, macrophages have a strong ability to phagocytic tumor cells and maintain the innate immune response. Tumor-associated macrophages play a more prominent role in regulating tumor immunity and are currently an important target of antitumor immunity. ⋯ Studies have found that a variety of natural products, such as polysaccharides, flavonoids, saponins, lactones, and alkaloids, can induce the polarization of M1 macrophages, inhibit the polarization of M2 macrophages, and regulate the expression of immune-related cytokines by targeting specific signaling pathways to enhance the killing effect of macrophages on tumor cells and improve the tumor immune microenvironment, and finally better play the antitumor immune function. In this paper, by summarizing the research results of the specific mechanism of natural products targeting tumor-associated macrophages to exert antitumor immunity in recent years, we discussed the aspects of natural products targeting tumor-associated macrophages to enhance antitumor immunity, in order to provide a new research idea for tumor immunotherapy and further improve the effectiveness of clinical antitumor therapy.

Research frontiers and hotspots of coronary chronic total occlusion: A bibliometric analysis.
By analyzing the relevant literature, we can accurately grasp the current status of diagnosis and treatment of chronic total occlusion of coronary artery, and clarify the development trend, research frontiers and hotspots of this disease. A literature search with "chronic total occlusion" as the title was performed in the Web of Science database. The title, author, abstract, keywords, institution, publication, country, reference, and other endnotes of the selected literature were exported in the form of text. ⋯ The keywords with the highest frequency are "chronic total occlusion," "percutaneous coronary intervention," "recanalization," and "revascularization." The burst detection analysis of hot keywords shows that "algorithm," "management," and "mortality" are the research hotspots in this field in recent years. At present, the research on this disease mainly focuses on the opening of occluded coronary arteries through various treatment methods. In the near future and the next few years, the research hotspots may be the scoring system algorithms for the treatment of chronic total occlusion of coronary artery and the management strategies for patients.

Comparison of a fixed-dose combination of Celecoxib/PG201 [Layla®] versus co-administration of individual formulations in healthy participants: A randomized trial.
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent joint disease affecting the spine, hands, hips, knees, and feet. However, definitive drugs for OA are lacking, and current treatments are limited owing to inconvenient administration, inadequate functional improvement, and long-term side effects including gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse events. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to assess the pharmacokinetics and safety profiles of PK101, a fixed-dose combination (FDC) comprising PG201, a 12-herb extract used in OA treatment in traditional East Asian medicine, and celecoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, by comparing its administration as an FDC and the corresponding individual formulations in healthy subjects. ⋯ The systemic exposure and safety profiles of the individual and FDC formulations were similar, supporting their potential as an innovative and effective therapeutic approach for OA treatment. With the evolution of medical models and diverse healthcare service needs, nurse-led clinics (NLCs) have gained increasing attention. China began experimenting with NLCs in 1997 and their development has accelerated in recent years. ⋯ It analyses the existing challenges and obstacles to the development of NLCs in China, offering valuable insights for promoting their growth. Additionally, this study provides references that can guide the development of NLCs worldwide.
