Survey-based study. ⋯ Our quantitative and qualitative findings yield insight into the patient experience of telemedicine in spine care. A preference for in-person visits was notable, particularly for new patient evaluations. This preference was not maintained for follow-up care. Patients acknowledged the benefits of telemedicine and reflected on its effective integration with in-person care. These results may guide best practices to improve access and patient satisfaction in the future.Level of Evidence: 4.

Michigan Spine Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MSSIC) prospectively collects data on all patients undergoing operations for degenerative and/or deformity indications. ⋯ In patients inquiring about long-term return-to-work after lumbar surgery, insurance status represents the important determinant of employment status.Level of Evidence: 2.

A radiographic comparative study. ⋯ Larger radiographic lower limb-spinal length proportion results in naturally accentuated spinal curves. These patients balance with a larger lumbar lordosis that is closer to the PI and a higher T1-slope which should be considered for spinal realignment. SL differs from GLA and should be separately assessed.Level of Evidence: 3.

Vertebral Augmentation of Cancer-Related Spinal Compression Fractures: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ The included randomized controlled trials demonstrated an overall positive and statistically significant effect of vertebral augmentation surgeries, such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, for the treatment of cancer-related vertebral compression fractures, especially when compared with nonsurgical management, radiofrequency ablation, or chemotherapy alone.Level of Evidence: 1.
