Randomized Controlled TrialThe Effect of Manual Therapy Including Neurodynamic Techniques on the Overall Health Status of People With Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
The purpose of this study was to assess the influence of manual therapy, including neurodynamic techniques, compared with no treatment on overall health status (OHS) in patients with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). ⋯ Manual therapy, including neurodynamic techniques, had a positive effect on OHS in this group of individuals with CTS.

Effect of Comprehensive Postural Instructions and Range of Motion Exercises Via Educational Videos on Motor Function and Shoulder Injury in Stroke Patients With Hemiplegia: A Preliminary Study.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of comprehensive postural instructions and range of motion (ROM) exercises via educational videos for shoulder injury prevention and functional improvement of the hemiplegic shoulder after acute stroke. ⋯ These findings suggest that comprehensive postural instructions and ROM exercises via educational videos during inpatient rehabilitation for subacute stroke patients could improve motor recovery and limit shoulder injury in stroke patients with hemiplegia.

Relationship Between Headaches and Neck Pain Characteristics With Neck Muscle Strength.
The purpose of this study was to assess the correlations between neck muscle strength and pain features, such as neck-related disability, neck pain frequency and intensity, and headache frequency in women with headache. ⋯ For the women with migraine in this study, correlations of headache and neck pain with neck muscle strength features were weakly to moderately negative. Headache frequency and neck pain intensity may influence a small proportion of the strength variability in extension and lateral flexion.

Cross-cultural Adaptation of the Pelvic Girdle Questionnaire for the Polish Population.
The purpose of this study was to translate and culturally adapt the Pelvic Girdle Questionnaire (PGQ) into Polish to allow pelvic girdle pain (PGP) assessment in Polish women. ⋯ The internal consistency of the process of translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the Polish version of the PGQ was satisfactory. The Polish version of the PGQ may be used both in clinical practice and for research among Polish women with PGP.

Randomized Controlled TrialChanges in Cervicocephalic Kinesthetic Sensibility, Widespread Pressure Pain Sensitivity, and Neck Pain After Cervical Thrust Manipulation in Patients With Chronic Mechanical Neck Pain: A Randomized Clinical Trial.
The purpose of the current randomized clinical trial was to examine the effects of cervical thrust manipulation or sham manipulation on cervicocephalic kinaesthetic sense, pain, pain-related disability, and pressure pain sensitivity in patients with mechanical neck pain. ⋯ Our results suggest that cervical spine thrust manipulation improves JPSE, PPT and NDI in participants with chronic mechanical neck pain. Furthermore, changes in JPSE and NDI were large and surpass published minimal detectable changes for these outcome measures. In addition, the effect sizes of PPTs were medium; however, only C5 to C6 zygapophyseal joint exceeded the minimal detectable change. In contrast, cervical thrust manipulation did not improve neck pain intensity at 1 week after the intervention.
