The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the clinicopathological characteristics and surgical outcomes between skull base and non-skull base meningiomas in pediatric population. ⋯ Pediatric skull base and non-skull base meningiomas are similar in sex distribution and high-grade meningioma occurrence rate. In comparison with non-skull base ones, pediatric skull base meningiomas occur at elder age and are smaller in size and they are more likely to be incompletely resected. Gross total resection and early treatment are recommended to prolong PFS of pediatric patients.
