Case ReportsTwo Case Reports of Life-Threatening Croup Caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BA.2 Variant in Pediatric Patients.
Croup is a common upper airway infection characterized by a barking cough, stridor, and hoarseness. It is usually caused by viral infection. A small number of croup caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been reported in children before the omicron variant surge. ⋯ Both patients were discharged without complications. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of life-threatening croup produced by the omicron BA.2 variant and confirmed by RT-PCR. We suggest that this SARS-CoV-2 variant may cause severe croup that may not improve with conventional treatment, even in children without underlying diseases.

Multicenter Study Observational StudySurvey of Opioid Risk Tool Among Cancer Patients Receiving Opioid Analgesics.
The risk of opioid-related aberrant behavior (OAB) in Korean cancer patients has not been previously evaluated. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Opioid Risk Tool (ORT) in Korean cancer patients receiving opioid treatment. ⋯ The score of ORT was very low in cancer patients receiving strong opioids for analgesia. Higher pain intensity may associate with positive response to one or more ORT item.

Case ReportsOne Autopsy Proved Neocortical Lewy Body Disease Without the Involvement of the Olfactory Bulb and Brainstem.
Lewy bodies (LBs) and Lewy neurites (LNs) are pathological hallmarks of Parkinson's disease (PD) or dementia with LBs (DLB). Incidental Lewy body disease (iLBD) is defined when LBs and LNs are found in the brain of normal elderly individuals. A 65-year-old man presented with autopsy-proven Lewy body pathology (LBP). ⋯ The patient showed severe-to-extremely severe LBs in the neocortex and limbic areas, except in the nucleus basalis of Meynert, amygdala, and brainstem, according to microscopic findings. Hence, using several of the previously known staging systems, it was difficult to classify the patient's LBP type. Furthermore, these findings were unique because they had never been observed before in iLBD.

Natural History of Asymptomatic Esophageal Subepithelial Tumors of 30 mm or Less in Size.
No definite guidelines for the management of small esophageal subepithelial tumors (SETs) have been established, because there are limited data and studies on their natural history. We aimed to assess the natural history and propose optimal management strategies for small esophageal SETs. ⋯ Regular follow-up with EGD or EUS may be necessary for esophageal SETs ≤ 30 mm in size considering that small portion of them has a possibility of malignant potential. When esophageal SETs ≤ 30 mm show significant interval changes, pathological confirmation may precede treatment to avoid unnecessary resection.
