DTI abnormalities in adults with past history of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: a tract-based spatial statistics study.
Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique enabling visualization and measurement of white matter tracts. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has been studied with DTI earlier with variable results, yet there is little research on remitted ADHD. ⋯ In a setting with remitted ADHD, the results may represent a compensatory mechanism in the left forceps minor.

Non-invasive evaluation of the extent of axillary nodal involvement in early-stage breast cancer (ESBC) patients and accurate assessment of multifocality are both challenging. Few reports have explored whether 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) might be more useful than other diagnostic methods in these contexts. ⋯ For assessment of multifocality in ESBC patients, highly specific results of PET/CT should be taken into account along with DCE-MRI findings. For evaluation of axillary nodal involvement, PET/CT has higher sensitivity, NPV, and accuracy values than DCE-MRI and DWI and may guide a surgical decision to proceed or not to SNB or ALND.

Sinonasal organized hematoma is a rare benign disease that may be mistaken for malignancy. ⋯ Although sinonasal organized hematoma can be mistaken for a malignant tumor, the following characteristic imaging findings facilitate the diagnosis of an organized hematoma: erosion of the bony sinus walls, markedly heterogeneous signal intensity, and papillary or frond-like enhancement.

Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is routinely used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of prostate cancer. However, the routine use of b values higher than 1000 s/mm(2) is not clear up to present. Moreover, the complex diffusion behavior of malignant and benign prostate tissues hampers precise predictions of contrast in DWI images and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps. ⋯ Whereas contrast in ADC maps does not significantly change with different b values, contrast ratios of DW images are significantly higher at b-values of 1500 and 2000 s/mm(2) in comparison to b values of 800 and 1000 s/mm(2). Therefore, diagnostic performance of DWI in prostate cancer might be increased by application of b values higher than 1000 s/mm(2).

Contrast-enhanced MR cholangiography with Gd-EOB-DTPA for preoperative biliary mapping: correlation with intraoperative cholangiography.
Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) could be used for preoperative evaluation of bile duct anatomy in addition to conventional information of focal hepatic lesions. ⋯ Accurate preoperative biliary mapping can be achieved on CE MRC reconstructed from Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MR images. The diagnostic performance was better on CE MRC reconstructed from coronal than those from transverse images.
