Multicenter StudyThoracic imaging of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in children: a series of 91 cases.
Pulmonary infection with SARS-CoV-2 virus (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2; COVID-19) has rapidly spread worldwide to become a global pandemic. ⋯ It seems unnecessary to perform chest imaging in children to diagnose COVID-19. Chest radiography can be used in symptomatic children to assess airway infection or pneumonia. CT should be reserved for when there is clinical concern to assess for possible complications, especially in children with coexisting medical conditions.

Multicenter StudyA clinical decision rule for the use of plain radiography in children after acute wrist injury: development and external validation of the Amsterdam Pediatric Wrist Rules.
In most hospitals, children with acute wrist trauma are routinely referred for radiography. ⋯ The decision model may be a valuable tool to decide whether radiography in children after wrist trauma is required.

Multicenter StudyRadiation exposure from pediatric head CT: a bi-institutional study.
Medical radiation from CT should be kept as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA), particularly in young patients. ⋯ The radiation dose from head CT in children as defined by the normalized ED was highest in the youngest children and varied significantly between institutions in this bi-institutional study.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study Clinical TrialComparison of gadobenate dimeglumine (Gd-BOPTA) with gadopentetate dimeglumine (Gd-DTPA) for enhanced MR imaging of brain and spine tumours in children.
Gadobenate dimeglumine (Gd-BOPTA) demonstrates superior enhancement of brain tumours in adult patients than Gd-DTPA. ⋯ At an equivalent dose Gd-BOPTA is significantly better than Gd-DTPA for visualization of enhancing CNS tumours in paediatric patients.
