Oxytocin exposure during labor among women with postpartum hemorrhage secondary to uterine atony.
We sought to determine if women with severe postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) secondary to uterine atony received greater amounts of oxytocin during labor compared to women without PPH. ⋯ Women with severe PPH secondary to uterine atony were exposed to significantly more oxytocin during labor compared to matched controls.

Prognostic analysis of ovarian cancer associated with endometriosis.
The objective of the study was to evaluate the prognosis of ovarian cancer arising in endometriosis. ⋯ As such, EAOC has a much better survival rate than OC. This could be explained by the higher prevalence of early-stage and low-grade tumors in EAOC when compared with OC.

Urogenital disorders in women with adjuvant endocrine therapy after early breast cancer.
To investigate the prevalence of urogenital symptoms and vaginal atrophy in postmenopausal breast cancer patients on adjuvant endocrine therapy. ⋯ Our findings indicate that the frequency of vaginal atrophy symptoms, particularly in aromatase inhibitor-treated women, might have been underestimated in previous clinical trials.

Randomized Controlled TrialDoes midtrimester Nugent score or high vaginal pH predict gestational age at delivery in women at risk for recurrent preterm birth?
To estimate whether bacterial vaginosis, as defined by either Nugent score or vaginal pH, predicts gestational age at delivery in women at risk for recurrent preterm birth. ⋯ The presence of bacterial vaginosis at 16-21⁶(/)⁷ weeks does not predict gestational age at birth in women at risk for recurrent preterm birth.

Comparative StudyCan hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography replace hysterosalpingography in confirming tubal blockage after hysteroscopic sterilization and in the evaluation of the uterus and tubes in infertile patients?
The objective of the study was to assess the accuracy of hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (HyCoSy) in establishing tubal patency or blockage and evaluating the uterine cavity by comparing it with hysteroscopy laparoscopy (HLC) or hysterosalpingography (HSG). ⋯ HyCoSy is accurate in determining tubal patency and evaluating the uterine cavity, suggesting it could supplant HSG not only as the first-line diagnostic test in an infertility workup but also in confirming tubal blockage after hysteroscopic sterilization.
