Case ReportsAnaesthesia Management of a Patient with Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency Undergoing Total Thyroidectomy.
We present here, anaesthesia management of a patient having glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency who underwent thyroidectomy. The main concern is to avoid any precipitating factor which could lead to oxidative stress in these patients. There is very limited data available on anaesthesia management of thyroid surgery in such patients. Key Words: Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, Oxidative stress, Anaesthesia management.

Case ReportsSuperior Mesenteric Artery Thrombosis in a Patient with COVID-19: A Unique Presentation.
Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) characteristics and clinical spectrum are currently evolving with the collaboration of clinicians. Arterial thromboembolic events due to COVID-19 are extremely rare; and all reported cases so far were of ischemic strokes and pulmonary embolism. ⋯ To our knowledge, this is the first case that demonstrates acute mesenteric ischemia in a patient with COVID-19 pneumonia.
