Does Prognostic Nutritional Index Predict Survival in Operated Papilla Vateri Tumors? A Single-centre Experience.
To determine the PNI's prognostic effect of prognostic nutritional index (PNI) on operated papilla vateri tumor (PVT) survival. ⋯ In patients with papilla vater tumors, undergoing curative surgery, PNI can play a role as an independent marker in predicting prognosis. Key Words: Prognostic nutritional index, Papilla vater tumor, Prognosis, Survival.

Effect of Obesity on Percutaneous Thrombectomy Outcomes in the Treatment of Lower Limb Deep Vein Thrombosis.
To evaluate the effect of obesity on percutaneous thrombectomy (PT) results for the management of lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT). ⋯ Obesity prolonged operation time and fluoroscopy time during PT. Additionally, obesity was associated with significantly longer hospitalisation period, and ICU stay, and higher VAS score in the first hour following PT. Key Words: Complication, Deep vein thrombosis, Obesity, Percutaneous thrombectomy, Success, VAS score.

Surgical Management of Subclavian and Proximal Axillary Artery Injuries.
Subclavian and proximal axillary arterial injuries are rare and difficult to manage. Eight patients were managed from January 2008 to December 2018 at The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan with mean age of 36.13 ± 14.48 years. All patients had penetrating injuries, from gunshot in 5 (62.5%), bomb blast in 2 (25%), and stab wound in 1 (12.5%) case. ⋯ Three (37.5%) patients had false aneurysm, while 5 (62.5%) had transected artery. Primary repair was performed in 2 (25%) cases, while 6 (75%) patients were treated with interposition graft with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). All patients have salvaged limbs with good functional outcomes. Key Words: Subclavian artery, Penetrating injury, Vascular trauma, Vascular repair.

Diffusion-weighted MRI at 3T in Endometrial Cancer: Correlation of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient with Histopathological Prognostic Parameters.
To evaluate the value of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) for the differentiation of histological subtypes in endometrial cancer, and to assess if ADC values correlate with histopathological parameters. ⋯ ADC measurements were useful for differentiating endometrioid and non-endometrioid carcinomas. High-grade endometrioid carcinomas had significantly lower ADC values compared to low-grade ones. Key Words: Endometrial cancer, Diffusion-weighted MRI, Apparent diffusion coefficient, Prognostic factors, Histological grade.
