Case ReportsPseudoactinomycotic Radiate Granules (PAMRAGs) in the Extensor Tendon of Hand.
Pseudoactinomycotic radiate granules (PAMRAGs) are most frequently observed in female genitalia. Morphologically, these closely resemble the actual actinomycotic granules. Actinomyces are infectious organisms that require treatment; whereas, PAMRAGs do not require a specific treatment since they are not infectious. ⋯ Differentiating PAMRAGs from actual actinomycotic infections is crucial for the treatment. Pathologists should be familiar with the presence and appearance of PAMRAGs to avoid misdiagnosis of actinomycosis and prevent unnecessary antibiotic use. Key Words: Pseudoactinomycotic radiate granules (PAMRAGs), Extensor tendon, Actinomyces, Hand.

Effectiveness of Simulation-based Clinical Skills Training for Medical Students in Respiratory Medicine:
A Pilot Study. To assess the effectiveness of high-fidelity simulation-based medical education (HF-SBME) in teaching and learning respiratory clinical examination in medical students. ⋯ Although medical students perceived HF-SBME as a beneficial teaching modality, it did not translate into improved performance. More research is required to determine the utility of HF-SBME in a developing country, like Pakistan. Key Words: Simulation, High-fidelity, Medical education, Developing country, Clinical skills.

Relationship between Serum Elabela Level and Hypertensıve Nephropathy.
To determine the difference in serum Elabela level in hypertensive patients with and without nephropathy compared to the healthy control group. Study Desing: Cross-sectional descriptive study. ⋯ The plasma levels of Elabela were lower in the case of hypertension, independent of nephropathy. However, this decrease is not specific for nephropathy and may be due to other accompanying chronic diseases. Key Words: Hypertension, Hypertensive nephropathy, Elabela.

Predictive Factors of Success in Sleeve Gastrectomy: One-Year Follow-up and the Significance of HALP Score.
To investigate whether HALP score [hemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte (LY), platelet] can predict weight loss in patients undergoing sleeve gastrectomy. ⋯ In patients with high HALP scores, the rate of weight loss was higher, and most of their laboratory parameters were improved compared to those patients with low HALP scores. Key Words: Body mass index, Sleeve gastrectomy, obesity, Weight loss, HAIP score.

Effect of Obesity on Percutaneous Thrombectomy Outcomes in the Treatment of Lower Limb Deep Vein Thrombosis.
To evaluate the effect of obesity on percutaneous thrombectomy (PT) results for the management of lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT). ⋯ Obesity prolonged operation time and fluoroscopy time during PT. Additionally, obesity was associated with significantly longer hospitalisation period, and ICU stay, and higher VAS score in the first hour following PT. Key Words: Complication, Deep vein thrombosis, Obesity, Percutaneous thrombectomy, Success, VAS score.
