Comparative StudyIs Spontaneous Pneumomediastinum a Poor Prognostic Factor in Covid-19?
To determine the risk factors for spontaneous pneumomediastinum (SPM), its clinical course and effect on prognosis in patients with Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pneumonia. ⋯ SPM development in a patient with COVID-19 pneumonia is a sign that the prognosis will not be good, and these patients need a more aggressive treatment. Key Words: Spontaneous pneumomediastinum, COVİD-19, Pneumothorax, Real-time polymerase chain reaction, Subcutaneous emphysema.

Clinical Outcomes and Prognostic Factors in HER-2 Positive Breast Cancer with Brain Metastasis: A Single-centre Experience.
To determine the characteristics and prognosis of brain metastasised HER-2 positive breast cancer (BC) patients. ⋯ Patients with ECOG PS score of 0-1 at the time of the BM had 19 months median overall survival (OS), while patients with ECOG PS score of 2 had 8 months (p <0.01). Median OS after BM was 32 and 14 months for patients with one BM and patients with multiple BM, respectively (p <0.01). Multivariate cox regression analyses revealed that time to progression of BM was shorter in patients with high-grade tumors compared to patients with low-grade tumors (p= 0.048), and in patients with de-novo metastasis compared to patients without de-novo metastasis (p= 0.003). Conclusıon: Tumor grade and de-novo metastasis (extracranial metastasis at the time of diagnosis) are independent predictive factors that may cause the earlier occurrence of BM and affect mortality in BC patients. Key Words: Brain metastasis, Breast cancer, HER-2 positive, Metastasis.

Arterial Stiffness and its Related Factors in Patients on Hemodialysis.
To evaluate the prevalence of arterial stiffness in patients on hemodialysis and related factors that aggravate the condition. ⋯ The frequency of AS was 33.7% in hemodialysis patients without a history of cardiovascular disease. Increased age and systolic blood pressure were independent factors affecting PWV. Effective blood pressure control therapy can reduce AS in hemodialysis patients. Key Words: Pulse wave velocity, Arterial stiffness, Cardiovasculer disease, Systolic blood pressure, Hemodialysis.

Comparison of Retinal Nerve Fibre Layer versus Bruch Membrane Opening-Minimum Rim Width as an Optical Coherence Tomography-based Marker for Glaucoma in Myopia.
To compare the reliability of Bruch Membrane Opening-Minimum Rim Width (BMO-MRW) Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) with Retinal Nerve Fibre Layer (RNFL) in myopic patients. ⋯ OCT BMO-MRW is a better indicator of glaucomatous damage in moderately myopic eyes as compared to OCT RNFL analysis. Key Words: Glaucoma, Myopia, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Bruch Membrane Opening-Minimum Rim Width (BMO-MRW), Retinal Nerve Fibre Layer (RNFL).

Scale Development Study: Readiness for Discharge from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Home Care of Premature Infants by Parents.
To develop the readiness for hospital discharge scale for mothers and fathers with a premature infant hospitalised in the neonatal intensive care unit and to test the validity and reliability of this scale. ⋯ In line with the validity and reliability analyses, it was determined that the mother and father forms of the readiness of the parents of premature infants hospitalised in the NICU for the discharge of infants and home care scale were valid and reliable scales for measuring parents' readiness for discharge. Key Words: Parent, Premature, Neonatal intensive care units, Scale, Development, Reliability and validity.
