Case ReportsSolitary Plasmacytoma in a Patient Presenting with Taste Disturbance.
Solitary plasmacytoma is a disease included in plasma cell dyscrasias, presenting outside of the bone marrow, and with the potential to turn into multiple myeloma. A 66-year male patient was admitted to the hematology clinic with the complaint of impaired taste. Physical examination revealed edema of the left pharynx. ⋯ Since the affected area is frequently the nasopharynx, sinuses, and larynx in extramedullary solitary plasmacytoma cases, they generally presented to the clinic with difficulty in swallowing, shortness of breath and pain symptoms. This case presented with a non-specific complaint of taste disturbance along with difficulty in swallowing. Key Words: Plasmacytoma, Nasopharynx, Multiple myeloma.

Case ReportsThe Use of Lumbar Drain for Spinal Cord Protection in a Thoraco Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Surgery.
Thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm (TAAA) repair is a complicated and challenging surgery with high chances of unpredictable post-operative outcomes. This is a case of a 56-year man electively admitted for De Bakey type III TAAA repair. ⋯ The patient had a prolonged hospital stay but ultimately recovered and was discharged home after two and a half months. Case ReportsMale Urethral Diverticulum with Stones Presenting as Acute Urinary Retention.
The urethral diverticulum is an outpouching of the urethral wall communicating with its lumen. Acquired male urethral diverticulum is a rare entity and arises secondary to intervention or distal urethral obstruction. Most patients present with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). ⋯ On workup, he was found to have a large tubular urethral diverticulum in the anterior urethra with multiple stones and urethral strictures. The case was managed endoscopically with optical urethrotomy and fragmentation and retrieval of stones using a semi-rigid ureteroscope and pneumatic lithoclast. Case ReportsGiant Sigmoidal Lipoma Protruding Through Anal Canal and Causing Sigmoido-rectal Intussusception.
Intussusception is a rare condition in adulthood and there exists an underlying pathological lesion in most cases. Colorectal lipoma is the second most common benign tumour of the colon. Although commonly asymptomatic, it can present with intussusception. ⋯ Histopathological examination had reported lipoma. Transanal resection is a safe and efficient method of the treatment in distal colorectal lipomas presenting with intussusception.
