Long-term Visual and Anatomical Outcome after Surgical Management of Epiretinal Membrane.
To assess the functional and surgical long-term outcomes following epiretinal membrane surgery. ⋯ Anatomically intact outer retinal layer significantly correlated with improved BCVA. Key Words: Epiretinal membrane, Optical coherence tomograghy, Best corrected visual acuity.

Accuracy of Metabolic Imaging-guided Transthoracic Biopsy in Lung Cancer.
To compare the detection of transthoracic tru-cut biopsy performed on metabolically active areas in positron emission tomography (PET) for the diagnosis of lung cancer, compared to only CT scan-guided biopsy. ⋯ Transthoracic biopsies taken by considering metabolically active areas of the mass in positron emission tomography-guided can both increase diagnosis rate and reduce the complication rate by preventing repeated biopsies. Key Words: Transthoracic biopsy, PET/CT, Metabolic active lesion, Malignant tumor.

Observational StudyDeficient Mismatch Repair and Lymphocytic Response to Tumor as Prognostic Markers in Stage II Colon Cancer Patients.
To investigate the relationship between colon cancer (CC) subtypes defined by the status of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) and mismatch repair (MMR) combination with clinicopathological features and survival. ⋯ The combination of TIL and MMR could enable us to differentiate patients' survival outcomes in more details. Therefore, considering that the TIL and MMR status, evaluated by IHC, may be a cost-effective and effective option for risk classification in patients with stage II colon cancer. Key Word: Lymphocytic response, Mismatch repair, Prognosis, Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, Stage II cancer, Colon cancer.

Is AST/ALT Ratio a Predictor of In-hospital Mortality in Pulmonary Embolism Patients?
To document the association between serum transaminases and in-hospital mortality in pulmonary embolism (PE) patients. ⋯ AST/ALT ratio predicts in-hospital mortality with acceptable sensitivity and specificity in patients with acute PE and might be used as a biomarker for risk stratification. Key Words: Pulmonary embolism, In-hospital mortality, Transaminases.

Spontaneous Pneumomediastinum in COVID-19 Pneumonia: A Rare Occurence.
Spontaneous pneumomediastinum with COVID pneumonia is a rare occurrence with or without accompanying subcutaneous emphysema or pneumothorax. The aim of this study was to establish relation of this complication to severity of lung disease and its clinical outcome. The study was conducted for a period of seven months from April to October 2020 in the CT Department of Armed Forces Institute of Radiology and Imaging (AFIRI), Rawalpindi, Pakistan. ⋯ These patients were assessed for severity of lung disease as per CT severity score (CTSS), and were followed up for their clinical outcome. All patients with spontaneous pneumomediastinum had moderate to severe degree of COVID pneumonia; mortality in patients with pneumomediastinum was 50%; and was seen in those patients who had greater severity of lung disease as per the CTSS. Key Words: Spontaneous, Pneumomediastinum, COVID, Pneumothorax, Subcutaneous, Emphysema.
