We report a 67-year man complaining of hematuria with the history of ileal neobladder for 19 years. An ileal adenocarcinoma of neobladder was detected with transurethral resection. ⋯ Seconder tumour of neobladder is a very rare condition. Early diagnosis and excision of neobladder may provide cure. Case ReportsManagement of a Firmly Lodged Endotracheal Tube: A Case of High Quality Communication.
This article describes a case of endotracheal tube firmly lodged in the trachea of a patient due to denuded subglottic cartilage and subglottic swelling. A 30-year female, who had a number of previous intubation episodes, presented with reduced consciousness and was intubated in order to protect and maintain her airway. ⋯ Furthermore, this case highlights the importance of a high quality communication using algorithmic surgical management plan to achieve a safe and controlled environment within theatre. Meta AnalysisRestenosis after Balloon Dilatation with versus without Stent Placement for Hepatic Vein Involvement Budd-Chiari Syndrome.
Balloon angioplasty with or without stent placement has become the mainstream treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS). Restenosis of hepatic vein (HV) is a tough problem. The aim of this study was to perform a meta-analysis to compare the restenosis in HV involvement type BCS patients treated by balloon dilatation with versus without stent. ⋯ Balloon dilatation combined with stent placement does not reduce restenosis risk over balloon dilation alone in the treatment of BCS with HV occlusion. It is suggested that stent should be used cautiously for such patients. Key Words: Balloon dilatation, Budd-Chiari syndrome, Stent, Restenosis, Meta-analysis.

Randomized Controlled TrialComparison of the Recurrence Rate of Entropion via Subciliary Route and Transconjunctival Route in Combined Lateral Tarsal Strip with Retractor Advancement Procedure for Involutional Entropion Correction.
To compare the recurrence rate of entropion via subciliary route and transconjunctival route in combined lateral tarsal strip with retractor advancement procedure for involutional entropion correction. ⋯ The transconjunctival approach for involutional entropion correction is as effective as the subciliary approach with lateral tarsal strip and retractor advancement procedure. Surgery duration through the transconjunctival route is significantly shorter as compared to the subciliary approach. Key Words: Entropion, Involutional, Lateral tarsal strip, Lower eyelid, Retractor advancement, Recurrence, Subciliary, Transconjunctival.
