Case ReportsEmbolisation of the Coronary Arterial Tree with Thick Contrast Material during Coronary Angiography.
A 58-year male was referred to our centre with an acute inferior ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). During the primary percutaneous coronary intervention, he suddenly collapsed with severe hypotension and severe bradycardia. ⋯ This is a rare case of contrast embolisation, which is completely preventable but fatal, if undetected. Key Words: Coronary angiography, Contrast material, Contrast embolisation.

Polishing the Teaching of Affective Domain in Online Education.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the overall education system in general and medical education in particular. While the cognitive and psychomotor domains were regularly taught in most medical schools, the affective domain was mostly left to informal teaching through role modelling. With the switch to online teaching, the dynamics of role modelling has changed, and the students do not observe their clinical teachers communicating with patients and colleagues. ⋯ The five levels of affective domain namely; receiving, responding, valuing, organising and characterisation, can be taught to some extent. This paper describes the different strategies which can be utilised for online education for each level of the affective domain, and help students learn valuing emotions of others, that is an essential attribute required by a competent physician. Key Words: Affective domain, Teaching, COVID-19, Undergraduate medical students.

Case ReportsPancreatic Abscess Misdiagnosed and Treated as Pancreatic Cancer.
A preoperative diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is not hundred percent accurate. Because of the uncertainty in the diagnosis of pancreatic tumours, some benign pancreatic diseases have been misdiagnosed as pancreatic cancer and treated with surgical resection. This approach has a significant negative impact on the physical and psychological well-being of the patients. ⋯ Therefore, our case findings highlight the need that clinicians should be aware of the differential diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and consider the possibility of a pancreatic abscess preoperatively, especially in patients with diabetes. Laparoscopic exploration is recommended to avoid the trauma caused by an open surgery. Key Words: Pancreatic cancer, Abscess, Surgery.

Relationship between First Values of Red Cell Distribution Width, Mean Platelet Volume, Platelet Distribution Width, and Hospital Mortality in Acute Deep Venous Thrombosis.
To determine the relationship between red cell distribution width (RDW), mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW) values and mortality in acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). ⋯ The results show that increased RDW values may be associated with deep venous thrombosis; and increased PDW values may be associated with mortality. Following RDW and PDW values, which are fast, inexpensive and widely available, can be useful as an early predictor of thrombosis and poor prognosis. Key Words: Red cell distribution width, Mean platelet volume, Platelet distribution width, Deep venous thrombosis, Predictor, Mortality, Poor prognosis.
