Effect of Platelet-rich Plasma on Mankin Scoring in Chemically-induced Animal Model of Osteoarthritis.
To evaluate the effects of platelet-rich plasma injection on histological changes of osteoarthritis using the modified Mankin score in monoiodoacetate-induced rat knee model. ⋯ Platelet-rich plasma treatment controls the histological changes of chemically-induced osteoarthritis in rat knee.

Effect of Autologous Platelet-rich Plasma on Appearance of Tenocytes at Injured Achilles Tendon Entheses in Rabbits.
To determine the effects of autologous platelet-rich plasma on appearance of tenocytes at injured Achilles tendon entheses in rabbits. ⋯ Injection of autologous platelet-rich plasma effectively improved the Bonar's modified score for appearance of tenocytes at injured entheses, 12 weeks after injury.

Polymorphisms in the GC Gene for Vitamin D Binding Protein and Their Association with Vitamin D and Bone Mass in Young Adults.
To identify DBP gene rs4588 and rs7041 polymorphisms and associate with participants' serum 25(OH)D and BMD levels. ⋯ Hypovitaminosis D was frequently found in young adults. Furthermore, G/T variant of rs7041 polymorphism was associated with lower 25(OH)D serum levels.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyComparison of the Efficacy of Nilotinib and Imatinib in the Treatment of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
To compare the efficacy of nilotinib and imatinib in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). ⋯ Nilotinib is superior to imatinib in the treatment of CML. There is no significant difference in the safety of the two drugs, and the adverse reactions can be tolerated.

Inhibitory Effect of Semen Litchi Drug Serum on the Proliferation of Human Hepatoma HepG2 Cells and Expression of VEGF and MMP-9.
To investigate inhibitory effect of semen litchi drug serum on proliferation of human hepatoma HepG2 cells and its effect on the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9). ⋯ Semen litchi drug serum can inhibit proliferation of hepatoma cells in vitro. The anti-hepatoma effect of semen litchi drug serum may be exerted through down-regulating the expression of VEGF and MMP-9 and inhibiting angiogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
