Case ReportsHypohydrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia in an Indian Family.
Hereditary ectodermal dysplasia (HED) is a rare genetic disorder chiefly affecting ectodermally derived structures including hair, nails, sweat glands etc. with pathognomic manifestations such as hypotrichosis, hypohidrosis, and hypodontia. Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplaisa, being the most frequently encountered subtype and HED, being the rare subtype. ⋯ We hereby report a series of four cases with common classical manifestations accompanied with spoon shaped nails, hyperpigmentation, oligodontia and hypotrichosis. The patients were treated for prosthetic rehabilitation and were asked to wear cool clothing.

Montelukast and Budesonide for Childhood Cough Variant Asthma.
To determine the effects of combined treatment of montelukast and budesonide on young children with cough variant asthma, and their serum inflammatory factors of serum hypersensitive c-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and pulmonary function. ⋯ Curative effects on young children with cough variant asthma of montelukast combined with budesonide are significant. The therapy may improve clinical symptoms and pulmonary function and reduce serum inflammatory factor level of sick children, with high application value and worthy of application and promotion.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of Dezocine-Remifentanil Intravenous Anaesthesia on Perioperative Signs, Serum TNF-&aipha; and IL-6 in Liver Cancer Patients undergoing Radiofrequency Ablation.
To analyse the impact of dezocine-remifentanil intravenous anaesthesia on perioperative signs, serum tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in liver cancer patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation (RFA). ⋯ Compared with midazolam-remifentanil intravenous anaesthesia, the dezocine-remifentanil method has a better analgesic effect, shorter wake-up time, and can effectively regulate the expression of inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6. However, the effect of remifentanil on the respiratory function is dose-dependent. Therefore, respiratory cycle monitoring and management should be strengthened during the surgery.
