This study analyzed the effectiveness and safety of ultra-low dose fluorescein sodium (FL)-guided malignant glioma resection and its potential to predict the pathological characteristics of glioma. ⋯ Ultra-low-dose FL-guided resection of malignant gliomas is safe and effective. The Ki67 positivity rate was directly proportional to the intensity of FL, indicating its potential to predict gliomas during pathological examination.

Recent years have witnessed a rapidly growing interest in CVJ bony abnormalities, and a qualitative and quantitative analysis of relevant literatures is necessary. This study aims to identify and summarize the published articles related to craniovertebral junction bony abnormalities, to analyze and visualize the current research trends and major contributors. ⋯ This study provides valuable insights into the current research trends and critical contributors in CVJ bony abnormalities, guiding evidence-based decisions and fostering international collaborations to advance knowledge in this field.

Mechanical thrombectomy (MT) is an effective treatment for patients with acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion. However, some elderly patients with recanalization have a very poor outcome, including vegetative state and mortality. This study evaluated predictors of very poor outcome at 3 months in older patients with stroke undergoing MT treatment. ⋯ In elderly stroke patients undergoing MT treatment, female sex and stroke-associated pneumonia were independent predictors of very poor outcome at 3 months.

The triglyceride glucose (TyG) index is regarded as a reliable alternative indicator for measuring insulin resistance. We investigated the association between the prognosis of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)and the TyG index, explored the potential of the TyG index as a new biomarker for forecasting the outcomes of SAH patients, and explored independent risk factors for predicting the condition of SAH patients. ⋯ Patients with SAH may benefit from using the TyG index as a predictive method. In our clinical practice, the TyG index is beneficial for managing diseases and making decisions. More research is required to determine if improved TyG index control would lead to better clinical results in the future.

To assess the effectiveness and safety of neurological interventions using the right transradial approach (R-TRA) in patients with aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA). ⋯ R-TRA proves to be a safe and effective option for neuro-interventional surgery in patients with ARSA.
