The aim of this study is to examine the health anxiety states and behaviours of athletes during the social isolation period due to COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ The results of this study showed that the COVID-19 pandemic and social isolation process have some effects on athletes' health anxiety. It will be beneficial to provide psychological support in this period for athletes to have a fast return to competitions and match after the pandemic (Tab. 5, Ref. 24).

This article presents the development of a novel preparation and processing method as well as indication for clinical applications of human allogeneic acellular dermal matrix, which was developed originally in the Central Tissue Bank (CTB) for use in burn medicine and reconstructive surgery. ⋯ Although ADMs did not fulfil all of the requirements for an ideal dermal substitute, their applications have been advanced for diverse indications in soft tissue reconstructions and augmentations. Early revascularization of the allografts reduces bacterial contamination. Research and development of new generation of acellular dermal matrices with incorporated autologous in vitro cultured cells will likely yield new products and give new hope for continued improve-ments in functional and cosmetic outcomes (Fig. 9, Ref. 60).

To investigate the association between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and incidence of maintenance haemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). ⋯ NAFLD was associated with an increased incidence of maintenance haemodialysis and inferior disease-free survival rate. NAFLD may impair renal function and patients with renal impairment should be monitored carefully (Tab. 3, Fig. 1, Ref. 25) Keywords: non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, haemodialysis, chronic kidney disease, proteinuria.

Recent evidence suggests that insulin resistance may play an important role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). In this study, the probable role of insulin resistance in the pathogenesis of AD was investigated in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). ⋯ The significant decrease in serum leptin levels in AD patients may indicate that it may be a therapeutic marker in AD. The level of serum Aβ peptide and SIRT1 proteins can vary depending on the stage of the disease. Therefore, this study should be supported by more comprehensive studies in terms of the number of patients in advanced stage (Tab. 1, Fig. 4, Ref. 29).

The aim of our study was to assess the diagnostic value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and red blood cell distribution width (RDW) in children with lymphadenopathy (LAP). ⋯ Children with histologically proven lymphoma have higher NLR, MLR, PLR, and RDW values than children with reactive LAP. NLR, MLR, PLR, and RDW tests, which can be performed even in primary health care centers, may be useful markers to determine which patients with LAP should be referred to the advanced center at an early stage for biopsy (Tab. 4, Fig. 2, Ref. 26).
