Numerous surveys using different techniques have been conducted in recent years to accurately classify Alzheimer's disease (AD). This research emphasized the identification of AD through neuroimaging data. However, it is important to identify symptoms as soon as possible when the disease-modifying medications function best during infection before a permanent cognitive impairment develops. ⋯ Experiments are being conducted on the Alzheimer's Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset, and the proposed system achieves the 98.32 % accuracy level (Tab. 6, Fig. 4, Ref. 34). The aim of the study was to evaluate renal arterial variations in Slovak context. ⋯ This is the first cadaveric study on the incidence and morphology of ARAs in Slovakia. The study has shown that the variations in renal arterial anatomy are a frequent finding (20 % of cadavers) while all of the described variants have significant implications for a variety of surgical procedures in the retroperitoneal space. The variations in renal arteries should be considered an integral part of anatomy teaching as they point to the diverse clinical reality of anatomy (Tab. 1, Fig. 1, Ref. 35). The aim of our study is to determine whether mapping the lymphatic drainage and diagnostic excision of lymph nodes from lateral neck compartment is able to detect ultrasound unknown metastases in this compartment early and thus favorably affect the prognosis of patients with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC). ⋯ The method is safe and sensitive for detecting unknown lymph node metastases in the lateral neck compartment, and may facilitate a decision to perform accurate surgical treatment of patients with PTC (Tab. 4, Fig. 2, Ref. 38).

Pelvic floor muscle injuries in women with a history of Caesarean section.
The aim of the paper is to determine the prevalence of levator ani muscle injuries and identify risk factors among women undergoing vaginal birth after Caesarean section (VBAC) compared to those with elective repeat Caesarean section (ERCS). ⋯ In the group of women with VBAC, there is a statistically significant risk of LAM avulsion and a higher occurrence of the overdistended area of the hiatus urogenitalis, especially in women with larger foetuses and in those who experienced greater weight gain during pregnancy (Tab. 3, Ref. 50). Text in PDF www.elis.sk Keywords: pelvic floor, levator ani muscle avulsion, vaginal birth after Caesarean section.

Some symptoms such as fatigue and dyspnea decrease the quality of life in patients with heart failure. The effectiveness of self-management programs on management of chronic conditions was discussed. So, this study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of self-management program based on 5A model on fatigue and dyspnea in patients with heart failure. ⋯ According to the results of this study, self-management program based on 5A Model can be used to reduce the severity of fatigue and dyspnea as well as improve the quality of life in patients with heart failure (Tab. 4, Fig. 1, Ref. 33).
