To analyze the characteristics of chest high resolution computed tomography (CT) images of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). ⋯ Most COVID-19 patients showed abnormalities in chest CT images and the most common findings were ground-glass opacity plus consolidation.

To assess burnout in medical educators and to identify factors associated with it. ⋯ In this study medical educators were found to have quite high level of burnout. The early career medical educators feels emotionally exhausted, with low sense of personal accomplishment.

To investigate the role of concomitant Internal Limiting Membrane (ILM) peeling during surgery for macula off Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment (RRD) in preventing postoperative Epiretinal Membrane (ERM) formation; and its effect on the visual acuity. ⋯ ILM peeling during vitrectomy for RRD prevents the formation of macular ERM post-operatively. This may reduce the need of a second vitrectomy. However, visual outcomes were comparable to the non-ILM peeling vitrectomy.

To analyze the outcome of repair of aortic valve disease associated with various types of ventricular septal defect. ⋯ Aortic regurgitation associated with VSD is a congenital lesion with continuously active aortic valve disease resulting in significant morbidity and mortality. Early diagnosis, effective treatment and meticulous follow up decelerate and in most cases arrest the disease process.

Postoperative sore throat (POST) is a common complication related to endotracheal intubation. The aim of this study was to compare the incidence of POST in patients intubated by trainee anaesthetist using Video Laryngoscope™ (VDL) or Conventional Macintosh Laryngoscope (CL). ⋯ There was no significant difference in incidence of POST for patients intubated by trainee anaesthetists using either CL or VDL. Objective evidence of training and laryngoscope technique can impact of POST.
