To explore the influencing factors of kinesiophobia and to establish a nomogram prediction model. ⋯ Family monthly income level, anesthesia methods, NRS, HSS, ADL, and SAS scores are influencing factors of kinesiophobia, and the nomogram model can be useful for predicting postoperative kinesiophobia.

Self-care practices are integral part of heart failure (HF) management. Information-Motivation-Behavioral skills (IMB) model has shown promise in fostering better self-care behaviors, but its efficacy in management of HF patients remains underexplored. This retrospective study investigated the value of IMB model-based nursing intervention for improving self-care, hemodynamic indicators, and quality of life (QOL) of HF patients. ⋯ IMB model-based nursing intervention significantly improved self-care behavior, QOL, and hemodynamic parameters in HF patients. This mode of nursing care has a potential as a valuable strategy for enhancing HF management.

To observe any association between mental health and potential contributors, i.e., BMI, eyesight, and number of screen-based devices in young adults. ⋯ Students who used only smartphones had significantly lower MWB scores than those who used smartphones and laptops. The study found low MWB scores among underweight individuals and those who were with both eye-sight issues i.e. myopia as well as hyperopia.

The objective of the current review aimed to assess if patients with bipolar disorder (BD) have an increased risk of stroke. ⋯ Patients with bipolar disorder (BD) may have an increased risk of stroke in comparison to the general population. The results are limited by the retrospective nature of the data and high inter-study heterogeneity which demand caution in the interpretation of the outcomes.
