To investigate the effects of EGFR-TKI combined chemotherapy on immune function, tumor markers and oxidative stress in patients with stage-IV lung adenocarcinoma. ⋯ Compared with systemic chemotherapy, EGFR-TKI targeted combined chemotherapy for stage-IV lung adenocarcinoma is associated with enhanced immune function of patients. It more effectively inhibits the growth and proliferation of tumor cells and reduces the level of oxidative stress.

This study was done to compare the clinical features, laboratory findings and surgical outcomes of pediatric patients with choledochal cysts. ⋯ Choledochal cysts have variable presentations depending upon age of the patients. Complete surgical excision of choledochal cyst is the treatment modality of choice and timely surgical management can prevent complications.

The current review aimed to assess the efficacy of adjunctive chlorhexidine (CHX) in the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis/peri-implant mucositis. ⋯ Evidence on the efficacy of adjunctive CHX for peri-implant mucositis is conflicting. Similarly, strong conclusions on the effect of CHX for peri-implantitis cannot be drawn due to limited number of studies. Overall, there seems to be a trend of non-significant impact of CHX on outcomes of peri-implant mucositis as well as peri-implantitis.
