To determine the correlation between excessive daytime sleepiness and body mass index, waist circumference, and lipid profile of shift workers at Dr. Moewardi General Hospital, Surakarta. ⋯ Increased total cholesterol and decreased high-density lipoprotein levels increase the risk of excessive daytime sleepiness in shift workers.

To evaluate early performance indicators for breast cancer screening at the King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ In light of the low participation and high recall rates, it is essential that the screening program utilizes performance indicators to optimize resource utilization and ensure the quality of the service provided. Additionally, a national framework and standardized performance indicators could mitigate this problem for other cancer screening programs.

To assess the clinical significance of serum CA-125 levels in elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). ⋯ Although elevated CA-125 levels may serve as a potential marker for diagnosing PTB in the elderly, they are affected by multiple factors, including serous effusion. Hence, caution is warranted while using this marker.

To evaluate the clinical and laboratory characteristics of COVID-19 patients admitted to Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University, Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, and to determine the factors affecting mortality. ⋯ Considering these elements when assessing patients and adjusting the course of treatment according to the recommendations of the most recent guidelines may lower mortality.

To investigate the side effects of Pizer- BioNTech mRNA (BNT162b2) and Spikevax (mRNA- 1273) Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines on adolescents in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ⋯ This study investigates the adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines among adolescents in Riyadh. As a result, this study creates a database to inform people about the risk of experiencing side effects based on their gender, age, and the vaccine type; more investigation is needed to better understand the link between risk factors and the development of adverse effects.
