To review voiding dysfunction caused by 3 different etiologies; dysfunction voiding syndrome (DVS), neurogenic bladder secondary to spinal dysraphisim (NB), and valve bladder syndrome (VBS). ⋯ Early diagnosis and management of childhood voiding dysfunction was associated with better prognosis. Children managed conservatively have better preservation of kidney function than those who needed surgery.

To assess local epidemiology and risk factors for bacterial, fungal, and viral infections among the autologous bone marrow transplant population. ⋯ Bacterial infections are the dominant type of infection among the autologous patient population. The research reflects authentic practice and reports unique characteristics of autologous transplant patients in terms of the prevalence and types of infection these patients experience.

To determine the frequency and distribution of mumps-specific IgG antibodies among the healthy adult Saudi population in Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, where mandatory vaccination against measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) has been implemented for 30 years. ⋯ Based on our study findings, we recommend that serological screening be performed to assess the need for mumps vaccination among adults at high risk for exposure and transmission.

To assess the utility of ferritin and inflammatory biomarkers in the diagnosis of stages of breast cancer. ⋯ Ferritin and ferritin/Hb are helpful in the differential diagnosis of stages of breast cancer.

To determine the clinical and coronary angiographic characteristics of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and the patterns and determinants of CAD treatment in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). ⋯ Patient age and anatomical localization of coronary atherosclerotic lesions were the main determinants of treatment with CABG or PCI.
