To assess the efficacy of vancomycin powder (VP) in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). ⋯ We found no significant differences in the infection rates following primary TKA when using VP.

To translate the pregnancy physical activity questionnaire (PPAQ) into Arabic language, cross-culturally adapt and test its reliability and validity among Saudi pregnant women. ⋯ This Arabic PPAQ is a reliable and valid tool that can be used in Arab countries.

To evaluate the variability in perspectives between pediatric surgeons and pediatric urologists in managing cryptorchidism. ⋯ In Saudi Arabia, practicing pediatric surgeons and pediatric urologists have different perspectives in the management of cryptorchidism. The results of this survey demonstrated the need to establish national guidelines to manage patients with cryptorchidism.

To evaluate the Ministry of Health (MoH) hospitals preparedness for potential disasters and crisis events using the World Health Organization (WHO) hospital emergency response checklist. ⋯ A total of 4 hospitals participated in the study. The participated hospitals showed insufficient levels of preparedness for potential disasters and crisis events.

To describe the association between diabetes numeracy and diabetes self-management among Saudi adults with insulin-treated diabetes. ⋯ Lower level of diabetes numeracy was associated with lower level of diabetes self-management.
