Meta Analysis[Hypophosphatemia is associated with poor prognosis of critically ill patients: a meta-analysis of 1 555 patients].
To evaluate the relationship between hypophosphatemia and prognosis in critically ill patients. ⋯ Occurrence of hypophosphatemia in ICU patients is associated with severity of illness, prolonged duration of MV and length of ICU stay, and higher mortalities. Levels of serum phosphorus may have certain clinical values for assessing prognosis of ICU patients.

[Diagnostic value of dynamic-extended focused assessment with sonography for trauma in patients with multiple trauma].
To investigate the diagnostic value of dynamic-extended focused assessment with sonography for trauma (D-EFAST) in patients with multiple trauma in intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ Although the E-FAST technology can quickly diagnose the multiple trauma patients and win the rescue time for critical patients, multiple trauma patients injured after 2-7 days prone to delayed damage and are difficult to detect, and D-EFAST can be used to find delayed damage earlier, and reduce the misdiagnosis rate of multiple trauma patients.

[Predictive value of four pediatric scores of critical illness and mortality on evaluating mortality risk in pediatric critical patients].
To assess the performance of pediatric clinical illness score (PCIS), pediatric risk of mortality score III (PRISM III), pediatric logistic organ dysfunction score 2 (PELOD-2), and pediatric multiple organ dysfunction score (P-MODS) in predicting mortality in critically ill pediatric patients. ⋯ PRISM III, PELOD-2 and P-MODS can discriminate between survivors and moribund patients well, and assessing the condition of critically ill pediatric patients with relatively accuracy. PCIS was the best fitting effect in predicting mortality and actual mortality, followed by PELOD-2 and P-MODS, while PRISM III had poor fitting effect.

[Establishment of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome early warning score in patients with severe trauma and its clinical significance: a multicenter study].
To explore the risk factors of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) in severe trauma patients, put forward a new warning scoring system of MODS, and to provide a more accurate scoring method for doctors to judge the clinical condition and prognosis of patients. ⋯ MODS warning score is composed of five factors, including the number of injured places, shock at admission, APACHE II score, SOFA score and APTT, which could be regarded as early warning score system for predicting MODS in patients with severe trauma. MODS warning score can be more comprehensive and timely to assess the possibility of MODS and prognosis of patients with severe trauma, and the prediction result is better than the single use of APTT, APACHE II or SOFA score.

Observational Study[Predictive value of continuous monitoring end-tidal carbon dioxide partial pressure on in-hospital resuscitation outcome: secondary analysis of the data from a multicenter observational study].
To approach the predictive value of continuous monitoring end-tidal carbon dioxide partial pressure (PETCO2) on the outcome of in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and explored the indicators of termination of resuscitation. ⋯ For adult non-traumatic in-hospital CPR patients, continuous 10 minutes PETCO2 ≤10 mmHg may be an indicate of termination of CPR.
