Meta Analysis[A Meta-analysis of Qingre Jiedu and Liangxue Sanyu method in the treatment of sepsis].
To systematically review the effect of Qingre Jiedu and Liangxue Sanyu method in patients with sepsis, and to discuss its effect in the treatment of sepsis. ⋯ The Meta-analysis showed that Qingre Jiedu and Liangxue Sanyu method may reduce the release of inflammatory mediators, improve the coagulation function, and reduce the 28-day mortality in patients with sepsis.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Application value of resting energy monitoring in nutritional support therapy for mechanical ventilation patients].
To investigate the value of resting energy expenditure (REE) monitoring in nutritional support therapy of critical patients on mechanical ventilation. ⋯ The energy metabolism rule of critical patients on ventilation could be determined by using the accurate metabolic vehicle and dynamic monitoring of REE value, which could be used for the implementation of nutritional support therapy.

Comparative Study[Comparison of differences in cardiac functions of cardiac arrest model rats induced by asphyxia and trans-oesophageal pacing].
To compare the differences in cardiac functions and myocardial injury between asphyxia and trans-oesophageal pacing induced rat cardiac arrest models. ⋯ The cardiac function after cardiac arrest-CPR was decreased in both asphyxia group and electrical stimulation group, but electrical stimulation had a heavier cardiac function injury than asphyxia.

[Beneficial effects of hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers on early resuscitation in rats with uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock].
To investigate the early resuscitation effect of hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers (HBOC) in rats with uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock. ⋯ HBOC infusion prolonged the survival time, increased survival rate, and improved hemodynamics, cardiac function and tissue oxygen supply in a dose-dependent manner in the early stage of uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock. The recovery effect of 5.0% HBOC was similar to that of the whole blood.

[Blockade of programmed death-ligand 1 attenuates indirect acute lung injury in mice through targeting endothelial cells but not epithelial cells].
To examine the expression profile of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) on lung endothelial or epithelial cells, and to determine the specific role of PD-L1 in mouse model of indirect acute lung injury (i-ALI). ⋯ PD-L1 silencing on endothelial cells but not epithelial cells protected mice against hemorrhagic shock-sepsis induced i-ALI.
