To detect the level changes of plasma N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with heart failure (HF) and explore their clinical correlations and prognostic significances. ⋯ (1) The level of NT-proBNP is significantly higher in HF patients. And it can be used as one of auxiliary diagnostic indicators. (2) The level of NT-proBNP in conjunction with hs-CRP can predict the prognosis of HF patients.

[Measurement of anatomical relationships of facial nerve canal related to middle ear and mastoid surgery on multi-slice computed tomography-multiplanar reformation images].
To investigate the anatomical relationships of facial nerve canal related to middle ear and mastoid surgery by multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) and its multiplanar reconstruction ( MPR) technology. ⋯ Anatomical relationships of facial nerve canal related to middle ear and mastoid surgery can be accurately measured on MSCT-MPR images. It is helpful to avoid injuring facial nerve in middle ear and mastoid surgery.
