[Awareness with recall during general anesthesia: analysis of 2015 cases].
To investigate the incidence of awareness with recall during general anesthesia in elective operation with modern anesthetic methods and to analyze the risk factors thereof. ⋯ Awareness occurs in some patients undergoing elective operation. Being female, use of LMA, not using volatile anesthetics at a time or continuously during maintenance of anesthesia, and intra-operative blood pressure fluctuation are risk factors. Premedication may help prevent awareness during operation.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of blood washing and autotransfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass on erythrocyte immune and kidney function].
To study changes of erythrocyte immune and kidney function after autotransfusion washed red blood cells during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). ⋯ Autotransfusion of washed red blood cells during CPB may improve significantly the erythrocyte immune function and protect kidney function better than transfusion of residual blood in the extracorporal machine or banked blood.

[The relationship between the parotid glands function and the dose-volume effect in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with intensity-modulated radiation therapy].
To study the preservation of parotid glands function and relationship between parotid glands function and dose-volume histogram (DVH) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients treated by intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). ⋯ 26 Gy is a threshold dose for the preservation of parotid glands function. There is also a threshold volume irradiated for the preservation of the parotid glands function. Based on the precondition of assuring significant dose to the target volume (PTV), we should reduce the irradiated volume and dose to parotid glands as possible as we can so as to preserve its function.

Comparative Study[Comparison between CT-discography and magnetic resonance imaging in lumbar disc diseases].
To investigate the clinical importance of discography and CT after discography (CTD) in the lumbar disc diseases, and make a comparison between CTD and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). ⋯ Discography is an efficient, sound and safe assistant diagnostic tool, which can get some special information about disc. The matched-group study shows that the MRI and CTD can not be re placed by each other. MRI may act as the screening tool for disc diseases, but is inferior to CTD, especially for the contiguous disc structure in the spinal fixation procedure.
