Review Case Reports[Giant cell interstitial pneumonia associated with hard metals: a case report and review of the literature].
To highlight the clinical, radiological and pathological characteristics of Objective To highlight the clinical, radiological and pathological characteristics of giant cell interstitial pneumonia (GIP) associated with Hard metals. ⋯ GIP is almost pathognomonic for hard metal lung disease. Meticulous history taking on occupational exposure is important for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of suspected interstitial lung disease.

[Effects of neurally adjusted ventilatory assist on patient-ventilator synchrony in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To observe the effect of neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA) on patient-ventilator synchrony in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ Compared with PSV, the ventilation cycle and the magnitude of assist in NAVA matched the patient's breathing pattern. NAVA improved patient-ventilator synchrony in patients with ARDS.

[The oxygen kinetic effect of inhaled iloprost in pulmonary artery hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension].
To study the acute oxygen kinetic effect of inhaled iloprost in pulmonary artery hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. ⋯ There were hypoxemia and abnormality of oxygen kinetics in PAH and CTEPH patients. After inhaling Iloprost, pulmonary shunt increased without improvement in oxygen kinetics. Oxygenation should be monitored closely and supply oxygen supplied for CTEPH when inhaling Iloprost.

[Exogenous pulmonary surfactant replacement combined with recruitment maneuver in prevention of alveolar derecruitment in rabbits with acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To investigate the effects of exogenous pulmonary surfactant (PS), recruitment maneuver (RM) and the combination of RM with PS in rabbits with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ Exogenous PS replacement therapy can improve oxygenation and the compliance of the respiratory system in ARDS rabbits . RM can also improve oxygenation and lung mechanics temporarily, but it may induce ventilator associated lung injury(VALI). PS replacement combined with RM therapy can alleviate VALI and is more effective in improving oxygenation and lung mechanics.
