[The contribution of omic sciences for the management of cancer in Chile].
With or without a COVID19 pandemic, cancer is and will continue to be one of the greatest health challenges on the planet. In Chile, during 2016, this disease was the second cause of death in the country and during 2019, it was the first cause in seven Chilean regions, surpassing cardiovascular diseases. With the advent of precision medicine as a powerful tool for cancer control, it is necessary to have genomic, proteomic, and molecular data in general, ideally on a population scale. ⋯ In this work we put into perspective the role of precision medicine and omic sciences as essential tools for public health. We offer a brief national diagnosis of the knowledge collected to date by the local scientific community regarding onco-genomic data from our own population. We finally discuss the potential behind the strengthening of this scientific knowledge, aiming to optimize the comprehensive management of cancer.

[Effects of a multidimensional intervention in older adults with mild cognitive impairment].
Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is defined as the intermediate stage between the cognitive changes associated with normal aging and dementia. People with MCI can benefit from the implementation of multidimensional non-pharmacological interventions. ⋯ Older adults with MCI benefit from the implementation of a multidimensional intervention, such as IMCFS, which is feasible to implement and integrate into the programs offered by the Chilean healthcare network.

[Coaching for the treatment of obesity and overweight: a systematic review].
Coaching is increasingly used to treat obesity or overweight. We conducted a systematic review to explore the intervention's characteristics, effectivity, and quality of the published studies. The search was carried out on Pubmed, Scielo and Scopus databases. ⋯ They were delivered in both private and public contexts, with face-to-face or remote interventions and combined techniques, mainly from the United States (82%). The interventions showed a 51% effectiveness in reducing weight, increasing physical activity, and changing eating habits. We conclude that coaching might be an effective therapeutic strategy for obesity and overweight.
