[Comparison of pulse pressure variation, stroke volume variation, and plethysmographic variability index in pediatric patients undergoing craniotomy].
To compare well-known preload dynamic parameters intraoperatively including stroke volume variation (SVV), pulse pressure variation (PPV), and plethysmographic variability index (PVI) in children who underwent craniotomy for epileptogenic lesion excision. ⋯ PPV can be viewed as a surrogate for SVV, especially in children aged less than 3 years. The agreement between arterial pressure waveform-based preload parameters (PPV and SVV) and PVI is poor and these two should not be considered interchangeable. Attempt to combine PVI and PPV for improving the anesthesiologist's ability to monitor cardiac preload in major pediatric surgery is warranted.

[Prediction of intensive care unit readmission for critically ill patients based on ensemble learning].
To develop machine learning models for predicting intensive care unit (ICU) readmission using ensemble learning algorithms. ⋯ The ensemble learning based ICU readmission prediction models had better performance than Logistic regression model. Such ensemble learning models have the potential to aid ICU physicians in identifying those patients with high risk of ICU readmission and thus help improve overall clinical outcomes.

[Clinical effectiveness of less invasive intramedullary nail fixation combined with titanium cable cerclage for subtrochanteric fractures].
To evaluate the surgical technique and clinical effect of less invasive intrame-dullary nail fixation combined with titanium cable cerclage in the treatment of subtrochanteric fractures. ⋯ Less invasive intramedullary nail fixation combined with titanium cable cerclage can obtain good alignment and stability of fracture ends, which is an effective method for the treatment of subtrochanteric fractures.
