[Pharmacodynamic interaction between propofol and remifentanil on the tolerance response to electrical tetanus stimuli].
To describe the pharmacodynamic interaction between propofol and remifentanil in suppressing somatic and hemodynamic responses to electrical tetanus stimuli (ETS) during induction of intravenous anesthesia with response surface method. ⋯ Response surface method can analyze the pharmacodynamic interactions qualitatively and quantitatively. The response surface models revealed the significant synergy between propofol (≤9 mg/L) and remifentanil (≤10 μg/L) for blunting somatic and hemodynamic responses to electrical tetanus stimuli. The ceiling effects of remifentanil were demonstrated in the reduction of propofol C50 regarding tolerance of responses to ETS.

[Correlation of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 gene polymorphism with antihypertensive effects of benazepril].
To explore the correlation of rs2106809 from angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 gene with antihypertensive effects of benazepril, as well as its interactions with polymorphisms of angiotensinogen(AGT) and angiotensin II type 1 receptor(AGTR1) gene. ⋯ rs2106809 might act as an independent influencing factor or component of gene-gene interaction in blood pressure reducing effects of benazepril.

Comparative Study[Evaluation of MODS score system and its modified system for the postoperative patients with cardiac surgery].
To establish a feasible postoperative score system for cardiac surgery patients. ⋯ Both MODS score system and modified MODS score system are feasible to evaluate the patient's prognosis after cardiac surgery, and the sensitivity and specificity of modified MODS score system are better than those of MODS score system.

[A histopathological study on Influenza A H1N1 infection in humans].
To find histopathological changes on major organs of Influenza A H1N1-infected patients and its relationship to clinical symptoms. ⋯ The respiratory tract is the major target of influenza A H1N1 virus. The changes of DAD with secondary infection in the lung resulted in hypoxia, leading to multiple organ failure and death.

[Imaging and quantitative measurement of brain extracellular space using MRI Gd-DTPA tracer method].
To observe the diffusion of Gd-DTPA in brain extracellular space (ECS) by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and investigate the feasibility of ECS measurement by using MRI tracer method in vivo. ⋯ The diffusion and clearance of Gd-DTPA in brain ECS could be monitored and measured quantitatively in vivo by MRI tracer method.
