Randomized Controlled Trial[Adjuvant effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia in partial mastectomy].
To evaluate the adjuvant effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia in partial mastectomy. ⋯ TEAS provides an adjuvant effect in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia and obviously enhances the analgesia effect.

[Effect of ultra-early hyperbaric oxygenation on spinal edema and hind limb motor function in rats with complete spinal cord transection].
To evaluate the effect of ultra-early hyperbaric oxygenation on spinal edema and hind limb motor function in rats with complete spinal cord transection. ⋯ Ultra-early HBO can suppress spinal cord edema and promote hindlimb locomotor recovery in rats with complete spinal cord transection.

Meta Analysis[Effect of levosimendan on B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with advanced heart failure: a meta-analysis].
To conduct a meta-analysis of the effect of levosimendan on B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels and evaluate the therapeutic effect of levosimendan on advanced heart failure. ⋯ Levosimendan produces favorable effects on the cardiac functions and BNP levels.

[Impact of prosthesis-patient mismatch on the quality of life of elderly patients after aortic valve replacement].
To evaluate the long-term changes in the quality of life (QOL) scores in elderly patients after aortic valve replacement, and assess the impact of prosthesis-patient mismatch on the QQL of the patients. ⋯ Aortic vale replacement improves the QOL of the elderly patients, but the degree of improvements do not seem to be influenced by PPM. The interpretation of the impact of PPM on the clinic outcome of the patients still remains controversial.

[Correlation between increased spinal cord signal intensity on T2-weighted MRI and clinical prognosis of compressive cervical myelopathy].
To analyze the correlations between increased spinal cord signal intensity on magnetic resonance images (MRI) and the clinical prognosis of compressive cervical myelopathy. ⋯ The peoperative hyperintense signals on T2 weighted MRI does not correlate to the prognosis of patients with compressive cervical myelopathy, who may also have favorable clinical outcomes after the operation.
