Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Effects of selective left lower lobar blockade by Coopdech endobronchial blocker tube on intrapulmonary shunt and arterial oxygenation: a comparison with double-lumen endobronchial tube].
To compare the differences in intrapulmonary shunt (Qs/Qt) and arterial oxygenation between selective left lower lobar blockade by Coopdech endobronchial blocker tubes (BB) and one lung ventilation (OLV) by left-sided double-lumen endobronchial tubes (DLT) in patients with normal pulmonary function. ⋯ Selective left lower lobar blockade by Coopdech endobronchial blocker tube during lower esophageal surgery provides a lower intraoperative intrapulmonary shunt and a better intra- and postoperative arterial oxygenation..

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of mechanical ventilation and controlled spontaneous respiration on pulmonary function during short duration of general anesthesia with tracheal intubation].
To evaluate the effects of mechanical ventilation on pulmonary function during short duration of general anesthesia with tracheal intubation, and assess the safety of controlled spontaneous respiration during general anesthesia. ⋯ In essentially normal lungs, short-term mechanical ventilation during general anesthesia with tracheal intubation does not damage the lung functions, and spontaneous respiration can offer sufficient oxygen supply without causing harmful carbon dioxide retention.

[Dose of glucocorticosteroids in the treatment of severe acute respiratory syndrome].
To survey the dose of glucocorticosteroids administered in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and assess the effect of glucocorticosteroid doses in improving the patients' lung function. ⋯ For SARS treatment, Glucocorticosteroids can effectively ameliorate the SARS patients' lung symptoms and improve the lung function. The appropriate daily dose of glucocorticosteroids is 1-3 mg/kg or 160-240 mg/d for a duration of 8-14 d; the accumulative dose should be controlled around 1500 mg.

Meta Analysis[Effect of levosimendan on B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with advanced heart failure: a meta-analysis].
To conduct a meta-analysis of the effect of levosimendan on B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels and evaluate the therapeutic effect of levosimendan on advanced heart failure. ⋯ Levosimendan produces favorable effects on the cardiac functions and BNP levels.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Adjuvant effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia in partial mastectomy].
To evaluate the adjuvant effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia in partial mastectomy. ⋯ TEAS provides an adjuvant effect in propofol-fentanyl anesthesia and obviously enhances the analgesia effect.
