Characteristics of Immunogenicity against SARS-CoV-2 in a Community-Based Model of Care during the Fourth Wave of COVID-19 Outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City.
Although some immune protection from close contact with individuals who have coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been documented, there is limited data on the seroprevalence of antibodies against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals who were in lockdown with confirmed COVID-19 cases. This study investigated immunogenicity against SARS-CoV-2 in household members and people who lived near home-quarantined patients with COVID-19. ⋯ Community-based care may have helped to create community immunogenicity, but Nabs did not persist, highlighting a need for vaccination for all individuals before, or from 6 weeks after, infection with SARS-CoV-2.

Mortality and Disparities of Acute Myocardial Infarction and Stroke in Korea, 2008-2019.
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and stroke are leading global causes of death and can be used to assess acute care quality. We examined the 30-day mortality trends after emergency department admission for AMI and stroke in Korea from 2008 to 2019, focusing on regional and income disparities. ⋯ National-level intervention is needed to manage regional and income-based disparities in AMI and stroke 30-day mortality. It is important to understand the variance in mortality rate by different geographical regions and income levels to establish an appropriate public health strategy.

Cardiovascular involvement in Behçet's disease (BD) is considerably related to morbidity and mortality. However, the cardiovascular manifestation is sometimes difficult to distinguish from those of other causes. The suspicion of BD and proper treatment is pivotal in the management of BD. ⋯ Venous thrombosis needs immunosuppression, and inferior vena cava thrombosis and Budd-Chiari syndrome require intensive immunosuppressive therapy. Arterial involvement causes aneurysm which usually is treated by surgical or endovascular intervention with immunosuppression. Pulmonary artery aneurysm and cardiac involvement require multimodal managements.

Multicenter StudyDevelopment and Multicenter, Multiprotocol Validation of Neural Network for Aberrant Right Subclavian Artery Detection.
This study aimed to develop and validate a convolutional neural network (CNN) that automatically detects an aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA) on preoperative computed tomography (CT) for thyroid cancer evaluation. ⋯ We developed a CNN-based deep learning model that detects ARSA using CT. Our model showed high performance in the multicenter validation.

Use of Advanced Energy Devices and Fiberoptic Retractors in Single-Incision Breast-Conserving Surgery for Breast Cancer.
The use of advanced energy devices for mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection can reduce perioperative blood loss, seroma formation, and drainage duration/volume. Retraction using fiberoptic retractors can help visualize deep and narrow surgical fields. We aimed to compare the postoperative outcomes between single-incision breast-conserving surgery (SIBCS) and conventional breast-conserving surgery (CBCS) with axillary staging using advanced energy devices and conventional equipment, respectively. ⋯ Using advanced energy devices for SIBCS with axillary staging reduced incision size and provided better cosmetic outcomes compared to those using the conventional method. Advanced energy devices may offer better surgical outcomes in patients who undergo BCS with axillary staging.
