Multicenter Study[Analysis of under 5 years old children mortality and the leading death cause in China from 1996 to 2000].
To study the trend of under 5 years old children mortality and the leading cause of the deaths in China from 1996 to 2000. ⋯ In urban/rural areas, the overall decline in NMR, IMR and U(5)MR from 1996 to 2000 was spectacular. Especially the U(5)MR due to avoidable deaths such as pneumonia and diarrhea was dropped markedly in rural areas.

[A study on occupational stress in commercial workers of a supermarket in Yinchuan].
To study difference in occupational stress between men and women commercial workers in a supermarket in Yinchuan, Ningxia. ⋯ Women commercial workers experienced much more stress, with more severe stress reaction in their work, than men did. The main factors affecting occupational stress reaction and level of stress in women and men were not quite similar.

Comparative Study[Detection for severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus RNA in stool of SARS patients].
To investigate excretion of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus RNA (SARS-CoV) in stool of SARS patients. ⋯ Positive rate and load of SARS-CoV RNA in stool of SARS patients was the highest at their acute phase, and decreased with the extension of its course.

[Prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in Chinese adults].
To identify the prevalence, distribution, current status of awareness and control of hypertension in Chinese adult population. ⋯ In the past ten years, percentages of awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in Chinese adults increased significantly, who had a relatively high prevalence of hypertension, but lower awareness and much lower percentages of treatment and control of hypertension. It is urgently needed to improve prevention, detection and treatment for hypertension in adults.
